Been having a blast drawing Nancy so much, I feel like by the time she shows up in the comic, everyone will sort of have a sense of who she is. While commissions featuring my OCs aren't "canon," how they behave in the pieces is. I like portraying them true to how they are, so something like spending a nice afternoon indoors and reading a good book is an activity that Nancy is definitely eager to do~ (Lil easter egg on the book, no pun intended for the day this is posted.)
It'll likely be a LONG time before we see Nancy show up in CCT, and it's not like she plays a big role or anything, but until then I'm glad
What makes it great in the above image is the look he's giving her, how she's cuddled up against him, his arm on the couch behind her, etc. Its all the little things like that that make it feel real.
