This might just be a general full-body, but this art holds a lot more significance to me. I commissioned this artist because they specialize in frank and realistic depictions of transfolk. I saw myself in the figures, and I saw a glimpse into who I wanted to be. I commissioned them to draw a hypothetical look into how I could after several years on HRT. I gave them irl references just so they could depict me as accurately as possible, down to every imperfection. The feeling I get looking at it is indescribable. It motivates me to continue on this journey, against all odds. I see her when I look in the mirror, and she is beautiful.
