Tally-Ho

Ugh, hate how this took forever because of my dilly-dallying. This was an idea I had a couple years ago after seeing some pictures of the sauropodomorph Pantydraco and looking it up, being intrigued by its name (because... you know) and discovering that it was actually named after the location the fossils were discovered. The Panty-y-Ffynnon Quarry located on the road between the town of Cowbridge and the village of Bonvilston in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. Realizing the dinosaur's Welsh origin, I... went into Artistic overdrive, picturing a Pantydraco fellow firing a longbow.

At last, I started work on this, unfortunately it took me way longer to complete because I kept being distracted by other stupid things rather than actually focusing on the drawing. But it's finally here, the Pantydraco bowsar dressed in a tunic displaying the banner of Medieval Wales and firing an arrow as he strikes the Chad leg pose and is colored like the modern Welsh flag (a happy accident, since I based it off of whatever drawings of this dino I could find). His pose and equipment I derived from artwork of medieval longbowmen.

Certainly more interesting than some 'ha ha, panties' half-wittedness, innit?
