These 2 met because a bounty was put on Lilith's head for stealing, and Lucas happened to be on duty. In an alternate universe, they just happen to be in each other's space. Funny how life goes, right? Lucas was drawn to magic, wanting to learn how it works and to harness it himself. But he was just a simple farm boy back then. Lilith was born into a noble's family. She was expected to take up the mantle of becoming a strong fire mage, just like the rest of her family. Failure meant she was unworthy.
