Drawing hands is an bitch. It's one of the reasons I've struggled so much drawing my characters and why so many they rarely show more than one. Also pretty sure it's one of the many reasons why AI itself can barely draw them as well.
But I've finally up with my own solution to the problem. Know where your thumb is. It faces you.
