(6 days short of 7 years later) There's some nice history here! I recognize classic Firefox, AdBlockPlus, GreaseMonkey, and the now-retro title bar style (I know KDE3 had that style as an option, but I don't remember which window manager/desktop environment it said it was styled after). Do you remember which desktop environment and/or window manager that was? Also, is that a virtual desktop grid zoom-out effect, 6 widow tiling zones per monitor, or something else? I can't tell these details without a visible task bar, panel, widget, or other DE-specific GUI element.

Heh, the tiling is all done in GIMP. I just took screenshots of each window and skewed them to fit in the drawing. The desktop was some version of Ubuntu with a different theme. I did try Compiz earlier on but it always had issues. Suffice to say, I did not have four monitors with 9-10 streams open at a time. The most I ever got was 7 streams on two monitors, and that was for a brief moment.
I wonder if anyone can figure out the Wikipedia print-out crown.
