Kais has had fun playing with of all the eevee-evolution mimikyus and fallen asleep mid play time! they seem to be enjoying their dream it must be one of the nicer *poofs* in their little mind.
so the idea for this stemmed from wanting to get one last mimikyu picture with the glaceon mimikyu and the best thing that came to mind was that Kais was dreaming about being all the different eevee-evolutions. que a rather entertaining brainstorming session with Kipaki with a few poses and scene being thrown back and forth and this is what we settled on X3. Kipa liked the idea of Kais being asleep surrounded by all the mimikyu toys I liked the idea of Kais being asleep somewhere other than in their crib/nursery... and so... a mid play nap in the playroom was born!
I love the detail in the scene from the big pikachu plush to the flaffy mobile on the baby gym... and the plastic velcro pineapple in the background I remember having a set of those as a kid! >w< the outfit was Kipa's idea! I love letting the artist have some fun with kais' outfits and once again Kipa doesn't disappoint
comes in 2 flavours! the warm golden hues of a rising or setting sun in the window and one which I would say is more of a midday scene
