Picture of my characters Tillis (left) and Custurd (right)
Sometimes I become less lazy and decide to put some effort into my pictures, this was one of those times.
Tillis and Custurd sitting in a pool in the underground caves of Urizen. The water in Urizen glows feintly with a blue/green tint it is said to have healing capabilities
I really enjoyed working on this picture and experimented with ways of drawing a background and seem to have found a process that is easy on the hands but gives a great effect.
Characters drawn on paper with black fineliner then scanned into Open Canvas 1.1 where I added the background entirely drawn by hand with a mouse.
Once all the linework had been tidied up I coloured it by hand with a mouse.
