Before you go on, I must warn that this may provide a bit of a spoiler for future parts of the story, so if you want to read it was it will be when it is finally made into a comic (or better!), you can go ahead and skip this part.

"I don't know who's reading this...and, personally, I don't care. All I know is that this is my story. It is a story of hope. A story of sadness. A story of loss. A story of love. It's my story, and I'm the main character: Ben. I suppose, before I jump right in, I'll sum up the events of the past."

September 10, 1936
On this date, the last officially known Thylacine died of malnutrition, neglect, and old age. However, unknown to the public, a rather small colony of Thylacines still survived in mainland Australia. Around a delta-like oasis in the middle of the outback, a small town-actually, more like a village-was built as a refuge. Bridge oasis, as it came to be known for its bridges and suspended structures became a haven for the few remaining Thylacines that comprised most of its populace. They all but sealed themselves from the outside world in order to avoid the fate of their brethren.

September 10, 1966
It’s been thirty years since Benjamin, the last Thylacine, died; and the village at Bridge Oasis is thriving. However, the fertile land nearby had caught the interest of a wealthy family of Dingoes-the Hensons-whom wanted the land in order to cultivate it for a profit. You see, the Hensons aren't only known for their money, but also for the ways in which they obtained their vast fortune. They currently invest in the mining of precious metals and jewelry, livestock, crops, and rumored illegal ties-drugs, slave trading, anything to earn another dollar. Anyway, enough about them for now. The people at Bridge refused to give up the land they worked so hard to obtain, and a small battle ensued. They were victorious in driving of the Hensons' hired hands...but not forever.

June 1, 2003
On this day, a large group of bounty hunters, criminals, and other assorted thugs were hired by the Hensons to deal with Bridge Oasis once and for all. It was a flat-out massacre: buildings burned to the ground; men were shot and slaughtered; women were raped and killed; children were crushed or skinned alive. It was a full-blown extermination that lasted but one night. When it was all said and done, there was a single surviving female Thylacine who was heavy with child. She managed to find one last working vehicle-an old Jeep left over from WWII-and escaped to the edge of modern civilization. Miles from Sydney, she encountered a cluster of secret labs run by Hangarcorp. The genius behind the labs, a hyena named Professor Herald Hangar, just happened to be paying a visit when the woman arrived. However, not even the genius that was Professor Hangar could keep her from the clutches of death, and she passed away merely two days after her arrival. She did, however, give the professor and his young son, Orpheus, permission to use her unborn son to save their species. All of the Professor's time and resources went into this project, and eventually had the result in his arms: a male Thylacine pup that he named "Benjamin," after the last known one. He was placed under the parental care of a Kangaroo couple who could not bare children, and they raised Ben through his early years.

Aug. 10, 2013
This is when the shit hit the fan: professor hangar was murdered in what seemed to be a military raid of the primary compound in America. Rumors that, before his death, he attempted to create a female pup; it remains uncertain if his son, Orpheus-who was merely six years old at the time-was able to save the newborn pup and escape, let alone survive. The foster parents of Ben were subsequently hunted down for their ties to Hangarcorp; Benjamin's fate is unknown, and is presumed dead.

"Well, they guessed wrong. It's 2021; I'm 18 years old, alive and kicking. I've been on the run for as long as I can remember. I have no memories of loved ones, of friends, of a family; just the will to survive. The Hensons killed my family and my people. I must take form them what they took from me. I will make them PAY."
