So I just read the Twilight Sparkle minicomic.
Guys, can we please talk about comic books about toy dolls for little girls making references to postapocalyptical science-fiction horror literature about murderous AIs?

Just don't build a supercomputer and you'll be good.

My Little Pony Micro-Series featuring Twilight Sparkle.
It's just a fleeting comment in a conversation, but it implies Twilight read the story and liked it.

No mouth ? You really don't have ANYTHING ! you're a ghost or spirit !

I haven't read the story, as I'm not much into scifi ,and even fantasy has hit my saturation point.

I must admit that I didn't like this book very much, it is so short that it has a lot of unused potential. That's why the videogame, which fully exploited it, was a freaking masterpiece of storytelling.

I also recall playing a computer adventure game based on "Hitch-hiker's guide to the galaxy". It was written by Douglas Adams, who in his inspired lunacy, also wrote the book ! The game, morer accurately,is based on the first 20 chapters and makes major puzzles out of (1) getting the Babel Fish, and (2) getting all the strange tools, 11 I believe, so that Marvin can unlock the computer-sealed door. This occupies the bulk of the game, whereas in the book, it is hardly mentioned in passing. If you are missing a tool, Marvin will ask you for that tool, and, not getting it, will not give you a 2nd chance. If you have all the tools, Marvin will ask you for one at random, which, upon receiving it, he will use to open that door. THAT completes the furshlugginer game !

The cast, except for you, retire to the sauna and won't come out to help you. you're by yourself ,fiddling around with the Infinite Improbability Drive, to go to places and get tools. Some of the solutions require twists of logic which I am unable to use myself !

The whole game is meshugah ! It was written for the Apple ][ and other systems by Infocom. I lost interest in infocom when the later games required a higher grade of memory than my system could drive.
