Several months ago... "Don't run too far, Mira!" Shouted Sully, Mira's orca friend. "Don't worry, I'll come back soon!" she answered. Sully and her younger brother Jace wanted to play beach volleyball, which Mira have no command of it, so the shark girl decided to swim alone for a while. "Woohoo!" She immediately jumped into the sea as soon as she reached the edge of the stone stairs. As a talented swimmer, Mira swam as a pink tornado. She glided in water, sometimes scattering schools of fish. "Look at their scared faces, that's so fuuny!" She giggled. Less than a minute, Mira had swam a bit far from the crowd and ran into a relatively wild area of the beach, where she found a strange small cave entrance that half sunked in the waves. "Hmm...interesting." Mira murmured. Looking at this humid cave, with cold air constantly blowing out, a sense of curiousity slowly bloomed in her mind, making her moving close to the entrance. "I've never seen here before...where does this cave links to, or maybe it's just a blind hole?" Mira couldn't press her desire of exploration anymore, she was determined to find what's hiding in this hole on earth. To Mira's surprise, this cave didn't completely flooded by sea water. There was a slope near the entrance, where she could step on the sand. The sunlight diminished at about 20m in front of Mira, she carefully moved into the dark until everything could merely display their outline. Mira didn't know how far she had walked, when she finally reached a small pool in the depth of the cave. Here, the sunlight appeared again, it shot from the hole on the cave's ceiling, letting the pool shine like a star sky. "Wow...that's so beautiful!" Mira opened her eyes widely. She stared at this mysterious sense, completely unawared that the danger is approching. Suddenly, a burst of crackling sound was heard in Mira's ears, like a squid fell on the rock. Mira subconsciously stepped back. However, before she could find out the source of this sound, her feet suddenly landed on a pile of sticky and slippery objects, which made her lost her balance and fell on the stone ground. "Ouch! it really hurts..." Mira complained. She tried to stand up, but immediately found a burst of resistance on her amrs and legs when moving the body-Exactly, it was something crawling on her skin. "Wait, wait...what is this, what is this crawling on me..." She gradually became nervous, her body started sweating, spraying a bunch of shark hormone into the air. By the dim sunlight, Mira could eventually recognize the rascal who tripped her up, with a huge fear shocked her heart shortly after. It was a large soft-bodied creature with countless purple tentacles, which was trying to bound her to the ground. (To Be Continued...) |
