Alexandrea Andreyev, Age 10. Taken June 11th, 2016 in Prairie Flats, Colorado.

Mom had this taken at a professional photography studio just after my first Karate tournament. I came in 2nd place, but damn was I sore afterwards. I got kicked in the chest by a horse just below my ribs after he grabbed my gi. I flew like ten feet or something. Mom told me afterwards it's illegal to grab someone's clothes except for a throw, but the referee didn't call it cause he was behind me and didn't see when it happened.

The photographer spent like five minutes messing with my hair before taking the photo. Normally it doesn't hang just to one side like this. I thought it looked cool, though.

I spent like 5 hours photoshopping the crap out of the original generated image, fixing mangled hands, belt ends, changing the belt and uniform colors, and adding eyes and hair in GIMP (because I'm too cheap to buy an Adobe subscription).

Worth it.

Shi looks like the way I imagine hir to look.  With all the workouts shi does, I can see hir having muscular arms and, probably, muscular legs.  I like the attention to detail that you gave hir four toes instead of five and five fingers instead of four.

Alex is shown here in a plantigrade stance, but in the stories shi normally stands digitigrade… although shi can use both.

Real cats have four claws on each hind foot instead of five, and so does Alex. I never put in much thought about it, tbh. Maybe I should draw up a skeletal diagram one day.

I believe I remember reading about Alex being able to walk plantigrade and digitigrade now that you mention it.

In reference to your reply about hir toes and fingers, I was just noticing that because so many artists get it wrong.  They either give them five toes and fingers, or four toes and four fingers.  I have to admit that I'm a stickler about minor details like that.  I'm always afraid to mention it because I don't want to upset people.

Same. I just let artists do their thing. I don’t want to come across as fussy and demanding.
