I agree with what Josie movie and the movies the person ask the question said…… but also throw my own hat in the ring for a friend and mention Harry Potter as well

Harry Potter less so. It has Christmas involved in small part, but the whole movie doesn't take place during Christmas. The movies would have to be fully at Christmas time for it to count, Harry Potter movies are all taking place throughout an entire year each.

Ah okay then. Will mention this fact to the friend then. Thank you for the clarity

Others I would include as holiday movies that others probably won’t: SHAZAM! Batman Returns & Krampus.

I'm not sure the answer matches the question, or is that the joke? The question seems to be about the validity of these titles as (obvious) Christmas movies, but the answer seems to be their ranking for best Christmas movie.

It's only a Christmas movie if Christmas is a central theme.

Having a movie that is set around December doesn't automatically make it a Christmas movie, using that criteria, Rambo is a Christmas movie!
