So, what happens if you give a Githyanki Sorceress turned Illithid with little wisdom and a Pokémon trainer as their best friend a wish?

This apparently. One poorly worded wish later, Yaih'za found herself as a powerful shiny legendary Pokémon in the service of her mistress Jenny with only memories remaining of who and what she once was.

And in true Pokémon fashion, Jenny decided to give her newest legendary a silly name: Cupcake, destroyer of worlds! 'Cupcake' for short. A name that would turn out prophetic when another of her wishes had unintended consequences in that it triggered the apocalypse that would slowly devour plane after plane.

On the plus side, she got the power she wished for with 250 extra HP and 4 stats at 20 and her new inability to speak in anything but light has done wonders to her foot-in-mouth problem... as well as her alignment change.
Finally, our artificer managed to combine her most powerful weapons into a trident of doom, fittingly called the "Dessert Fork" because she's named after a dessert and it was forged in a desert... yay for puns!
