Her arrival came at a time of healing and renewal for the Wilder family, as her parents had recently reunited and remarried after a period of separation. Jessie’s birth brought immense joy to the household, with her big brother Noah eagerly stepping into his role as her protector and playmate.

However, as Jessie grew, it became clear that her autism was high-functioning and primarily influenced her in positive ways. World/Setting
The CrossoverVerse—often shortened to XV—is a late-2010s era world defined by unity, trust, and freedom from greed-driven systems. It is a utopia at heart, though not without quirks and struggles, making it a vibrant place for Sapienkind—humans, furries, and Pokémorphs—to live and grow together.
At its core lies a society built on mutual trust. While minor disputes still occur, armies have been abolished and war no longer exists. Policing is limited to community safety, with most interactions guided by cooperation. This ethos stems from centuries of progress, overturning old divisions like the predator-prey segregation of medieval times and embracing shared intelligence, emotional depth, and what many call the Sapient Spirit.
The XV thrives on an early-to-mid 2000s tech ethos fused with modern hardware. Smartphones exist but are not mandatory, coexisting with flip phones, PDAs, MP3 players, and handheld consoles. Devices are designed for longevity, repairability, and user control—free from forced obsolescence, subscriptions, or monopolies. The internet resembles an open, ad-free early 2000s web, and standalone software dominates. Old and new tech coexist seamlessly, eliminating the e-waste crisis.
Transport balances practicality and creativity. Helicopters are affordable and common thanks to rooftop helipads. Personal locomotives run on compact, family-friendly tracks woven into towns, while standard gauge lines enable long-distance travel. Cars, boats, and aircraft all use simple licensing systems that distinguish private and commercial operation. Culture embraces both tradition and play—false-drowning games with Waterstones, backyard rail trips, and even tickle facilities, playful safe spaces where cubs and enthusiasts explore laughter-based fun.
Sustainability comes from the Synthetic Carbon Cycle (SCC). At its center is SynCrude, a synthetic fuel made by capturing CO₂, converting it into hydrocarbons, and refining it into gasoline, diesel, or jet fuel. Because SynCrude is carbon-neutral and identical to fossil fuels, infrastructure needed no drastic change. This closed-loop system ended climate change without bans or forced electrification. Fuel remains cheap (10–25 cents per gallon), covering costs while ensuring universal access.
The XV is utopian for the working class but dystopian for exploiters, thanks to strict Anti-Enshittify laws—sometimes called “The Doctorow Initiative.” These rules, tied to antitrust principles, prevent companies from prioritizing profit over quality or fairness. Any attempt to “enshittify” a product faces severe consequences, preserving consumer choice and freedom from abuse.
The XV also honors deeper roots. One true goddess, Isabella, the All-Seeing Mother, and her companion, the Great Wolf, once guided ferals into sapience. While daily life is practical and modern, echoes of this divine heritage remain in language, culture, and myth, blending seamlessly with science-driven progress.
Life in the XV feels cozy, curious, and inventive. Families build pools and trains in their backyards. Children explore storms, forests, and playful inventions while guided by patient parents. Communities embrace both analog charm and modern convenience. The analog TV shutdown never happened, so fuzzy signals still coexist with digital feeds. Monster Jam thrives in its golden chaos. Payphones stand ready on every corner, even as smartphones sit in pockets. It is a world where the best of every era endures.
Above all, the XV is a celebration of imagination, trust, and shared joy—a place where Sapienkind lives free of war and exploitation, where storms are watched for wonder instead of fear, and where the future remains as bright and playful as the cubs who dream it into being.

Jessie has a golden-tan coat marked by bold rosettes and dark spots across her body. Her fur is soft and short, with a lighter cream shade on her muzzle, underbelly, and inner limbs. Her face is round and expressive, with bright green eyes full of innocence and wonder, a short rounded muzzle with a soft pink nose, and rounded ears edged in dark fur with pale inner lining. Light brown hair swishes around her head somewhat kept under control by Judy, adding to her silly, girly charm. Her long tail, patterned with spots and ending in a darker tip, often swishes with her moods, betraying her excitement or restlessness. Overall, her build is smol, chubby, and cuddly—perfect for tea parties, snuggling with mommy or daddy, dancing, and exploring every corner of the world at her own pace.
Clothing
Everyday wear: Jessie's wardrobe is all handled by Judy and David, since she really doesn't mind anything. She often wears dresses, shirts and shorts, or just her pull-ups in the house.
Favorite wear: Jessie dresses simply with a pink sleeveless skater dress, no footwear, and depending on location and potty training progress, either pull-ups or big girl panties.
Pajamas: Many types of pajamas are available for Jessie, from onesies to two-piece sets, or if the bedroom is warmer than usual, just her night diaper. Her absolute favorite is a pastel teal onesie with a pattern of stars, clouds, and cat faces, and a bib that says "wuvs huggies"
Swimwear: Jessie has a pink swim diaper with a pattern of various water related items like starfish, clams, dolphins, and mermaids. This swim diaper forms the basis of her other two outfits: a toddler-safe two-piece bikini (the skirt fits on top of her swim diaper), and a pastel blue rash guard with a flower pattern, and matching swim shorts.
Winter gear: a thick pink puffer jacket with a simple snow pattern, warm mittens, and soft leather booties lined with breathable non-irritating fabric
Accessories
Jessie doesn't wear any accessories usually, save for any hair clips when Judy or David insists she looks fancy. However she does like to carry a plushy around; her favorites being a black cat plushy called "Shadow" and a pink doggy called "Cupcake"
