Yes, I have an OC/ponysona now. 11 years way too late and for pretty much no reason honestly. Mostly to use it as my profile icon because I wanted something uniquely of my own. I'm not big on OCs, there are very few I actually ended up liking but they don't matter that much to me to make art of them. For a long time I've been noticing that many pony artists have OCs and use them as their avatar, so why shouldn't I have one too? And I am a pony artist overwhelmingly.
I don't think I'll be using him much outside of this purpose. It's not like I'll suddenly start waifuing and shipping him with everything. That's just not my style. I'm aware, though, of the possibility of him getting used in every kind of art by whatever artist if he'll ever get noticed. I may myself request some art of him too (again, for trademark purposes).
So, let's talk about his appearance. I was long debating whether to make him an earth pony or a unicorn (making him a pegasus was the last option and I hate editing wings), so I went with unicorn cuz unicorns are cool enough. His mane is dark brown just like my hair, same for his eyes and his coat is grey just like my life... lol. His magic aura is red because I like red color. His cutie mark represents my previous avatar I had for the longest of time - a smiling blue moon with a small bouncing heart next to it. Originally, I planned a different mark but nothing else came to mind. But I think it's fitting enough, so I'm glad in the end. And yes, I made him in three forms. I like the teenage version the most, honestly.
So, that's it. I'll be soon changing my avatar here and on other platforms and social media. This shall be fun.
