- Background Creation Data Well since we are in this month i sure thought, its time we go with the theme, right? So yea, Lemina... Well, if you didnt know already, i got the base idea for Lemina because back in the day, i didnt remember that Female Lemmings were a thing. Like, do they exist? I mean im sure somehow they DO but to my "basic" knowledge back than, the only "real" female Lemming which existed was acutally a Lemming which counted as Enemy which went with the name Lemme Fatale which wasnt a real Lemming at all so it seems ( https://lemmings.fandom.com/wiki/Lemme_Fatale ).
With that knowledge, i was like ok, lets do some justice here and create a REAL female Lemming, a cute one which doesnt "kill" others on contact. So i put some braincells together and created said female Lemming, first with no real name but watchers gave her quickly the name shes known for today: Lemina Lemming.
Since than, Shes basically the "cute trademark" from my art, appiering in winter pictures, cute pictures overall and situations which shows how small she really is because, yes, she is really small. I duno the "official" Lemmings sizes but knowing that a Lemming can get squashed by a tennis ball, eaten by a frog and similar sized-things, I think the bets i would make around 1 inch or 3cm seems somewhat fitting here. Basically, even carring a strawberry is for her some work!
Later on, i learned that Female Lemmings ARE infact cannon. An Advertisment from Lemmings 2 the Tribes did show the Beach Tribe. In the middle of the ocean of said picture you can CLEARLY see a Lemming in a female Bikini, showing some "sizes" there as well! :o
So yea, basically, Lemina is ever since my small cute Lemmings character and ever since, she always reminds me of a way "simpler" times and the childhood memories. :3
- Story Data TO be fair, I never really had a big story for her in mind since shes a Fancharacter. The only "infos" i ones created is that shes from the Classic Tribe and that she doesnt suffer from "the walking urge" to much anymore like her older Lemmings did. Basically, her whole story would pay years after Lemmings 2 and 3 (if you count 3 even cannon nowadays). So yea, sorry about that but than again, Shes a Lemming i love to draw ^^;
- After thoughts Data Ever since i did create her, Lemina got something like remark status for my art. When people see me, they either ask for some Lemina related things or my Spies which is somewhat funny if you think about it. Shes more of a character i draw from time to time but also a character i love "just to use and chill". Lemina is also the character which let me create said Lemmings Month which will be always in Febuary in a year since the official release date from the original Lemmings is infact the 14th Febuary 1991. So about that! :D
