Collin fiddled with his stubby fingers as he waited on the long bench near reception.

He had only been there a couple of minutes, they would never make a prized customer wait too long for their product after all. But those minutes still felt like forever.
Doubts and questions ran hot in his mind.

Was this a mistake?
What would others think of him?
Was he really safe around a Hellhound?

And then Molly stepped out from a side room.

Hair brushed. Fur pristine.
She was beautiful and no amount of doubts could hide that from him.

She wore shorts so tiny that he could clearly see the straps of her thong.
Which were pressing wonderfully into the curves of her hips.
Molly also wore a tiny top, which showed off the full range of her shoulders and stomach.
It was one pulled zipper away from showing him everything.

He then noticed the wide pet collar that she wore on her neck.
And for some reason all of her clothing was a sunny orange colour.
Other than the panties, which were white. To contrast her grey fur.

He watched as she attached a leash to her collar before stepping eagerly to him.
She offered him the end of it. And with shaking hands, he took it.
Molly slung a backpack over a shoulder before picking up a suitcase.

“Ready to go?” She asked as she caught him staring.
Let’s see what I have to work with here…

They left the Kennel.

And Molly instantly took a left. She walked slowly down the filthy Hell streets.
She took another turn and went past an old antique shop before heading down some more streets.
A few turns later and Collin finally spoke up.

“We’re going away from the resort.” He pointed out.

“I’m just walkin', you’ve got the leash.” She replied.

That was certainly true.

Collin gave the slightest tug on the leash, and Molly stopped instantly.

“We s-should go back.” He said.

“Yeah we should.” Molly replied.

But when he gave a tug she didn’t move.

“We ‘could’ do a lot of things, and there are things we ‘should’ do.”
Molly said as she stood unmoving to his feeble tugs.

Collin swallowed.

“We a-are going back.” He rephrased.

“Right away.” She replied quickly.
Molly turned and strolled past him.

“Your clothing is q-quite unique.” Collin spoke up to break the silence.

“I knew you’d like it.” She said with her tail wagging.
“Angels love all that, sunny yellow and soft pinks right?”

"Aren't you cold though?” He asked.

She wasn’t expecting genuine concern.

“Hellhounds run hot. My insides are a jacuzzi.” She replied with another tail wag.

Collin didn’t know how to reply to that, and so he went back to being quiet.

They back tracked, down and along and around the streets. But as they came to the antique shop once more two Imps stepped out in front of Molly from an alleyway.
And a third appeared behind Collin.

“Oh lookie, it is an Angel. Out for a walk and all.” The one near Collin spoke.

“Um…” Collin stammered shyly.

“Oh we are just the biggest fans of Angels. We won’t keep you. I just wanted to ask for a few handfuls of those lovely shiny feathers so we have something to remember you by.”
The Imp said with a toothy grin as he stepped closer.

His smile dropped however as his hooves left the ground.

Molly held one of his horns tightly and lifted him up as easily as a baseball.
She turned, spun him a quarter, before throwing him like a fast pitch straight through the window of the old antique shop.

A crash of wood.
A smash of glass.
The tickle and chiming of spare bells and metal parts.
And it all went quiet.

“Boss, you good?” One of the other two asked as they ran over.

“Oh yeah… This big fucker broke my… Wait, no no no, wait wait wait!”
The Imp called out before suddenly.

DONG. A massive crash as something huge and made of solid wood toppled over.
And then another crash as the old wooden floor broke from the weight.

“B-boss?” Another asked.

They only got the long, quiet, whine of something.
Like very painful air escaping from a cracked teapot.

“You should go check on him.”
Molly said between the pair before grabbing both of them.
One and two, they were sent sailing into the darkness of the shop.

Molly picked up her suitcase again before leaving as if nothing had happened.
She pulled Collin along like a balloon on a string, his wings gently flapping as they went.

“You alright?” Molly asked after letting the air settle.

“Mhm.” Collin nodded.

“So, do you live at the resort or are we going all the way?” Molly asked.

“P-p-pardon? Oh! Um, I live in Heaven, yes.” Collin replied.

“Got a bunch of bags here, ‘should’ we go home first?” She asked.

“Yeah we… We are going home.” Collin replied a little more confidently.

Molly smiled and wagged her tail.
He learns quickly, this might not be a complete drag.

---0---

They returned to the station but this time was stopped by a Cherub.
A young male with glasses and pale blue fur.
He carried a clipboard in one arm.

“Excuse me, who is this?” He asked, pointing to Molly.

“She’s…” Collin suddenly realized he didn’t know how to explain this.

Was she a friend? He did buy her to be one of some sort.
But you don’t really buy friends, and Demons were not really let into Heaven either.
And he was walking her on a leash…

Collin turned red as he started to realize just how this all looked.

“I’m his wife.” Molly cut in.

And both Collin and the Cherub stared at her.

Molly pulled her contract out from the backpack and handed it to the Cherub.

“Marriage is just when two people are legally bound together and stuff right?”
She pointed out, as the Cherub read through the information.

The contract and adoption forms were not the same as marriage.

The fanciful writing and legal coverings were just to make sure that in any situation he has complete right to take her anywhere and involve her in any personal matter. In that theme, she could be covered as anything he decided on at any given moment.

A spouse. A daughter. An employee.

Simply put.

Molly was an object.
A very tall and pretty object that he could take anywhere.

Like a lifelong prostitute.

The Cherub took a sharp inhale and began to flick through the pages of his clipboard.
His brow furrowed and he muttered one thing or another under his breath.
Before turning over to another page and writing something furiously.

He turned the clipboard around and handed it, and the pen, to Collin.

“Technically she is a possession of yours so I can’t stop you from taking her back with you. But this is also not covered in the slightest in any of the rules. So I need you to sign here, here and here that I am in no way responsible for any possible dark magic, Demon invasions, Angel attacks or other unforeseen consequences.” He explained.

“Neat. That seems fair.” Molly said as she looked over Collin’s shoulder.

Collin made sure to read the notes but found nothing hidden.
He signed, three times over, before handing it back.

“It would be impolite of me to judge what you do in your free time but…”
The Cherub began to speak.

“Then don’t.” Molly cut in sharply.

The Cherub swallowed.

“The portals will be opening any moment, thank you for visiting Hell.”
He said politely through a forced smile.

---0---

“Holy shit.” Molly barked as she stepped onto the streets of Heaven.

She sniffed around and looked at everything near to her.
Her tail wagged furiously from excitement.

“The air smells like, what is that, cookies and chocolate? Oh fuck.”

It was more colour than anything she had seen in her life. And then some.
The streets were spotless, every brick looked new, every flower in bloom.

“It’s like six tabs of acid and an all you eat popcorn machine.”
She spoke giddily before taking in a long inhale of that fresh, sweet, air.

Collin was less excited.

There were already a dozen curious pairs of eyes watching them from every direction.
And with every second more and more heads began to turn.

Nobody knew what to make of it.

A scantily dressed Hellhound who was collared and leashed by a Cherub half her size.
A Demon from Hell who had somehow been given permission to come to Heaven.
The sheer balls to buy a Demon whore and bring her out during the day no less.

Rumours and whispers were already starting to be made.

And Molly was noticing the attention.

“Which way is our home?” She asked.

Our home. Those words cut into Collin.

He gave her leash a little tug and then pointed in a direction.
All the while his face burned red from the growing attention he was getting.

The walk to his home was even worse.
Every step they made confirmed one rumour and created three more.

The Angels that passed them wondered so many things.

Was the leash and collar his idea?
Was walking her a normal Demon thing or a sex thing?
Is there even a difference between a Demon thing and a sex thing to begin with?
How long had these two known each other?

To the Angels, the worst they could imagine in their sparkly little brains was:
That the pair had known each other for around a year and had decided to go public.
Any less amount of time was just too scandalous to them.

Eventually Collin and Molly made it to his home.

It was thankfully set away from the denser city streets and was placed on a large suburb.

He had a front garden, lush with flowers and well trimmed grass, and a back garden that was even bigger. The small house had two floors, a mailbox. And looked as if it had been recently repainted.

“Does everyone live in a house like this?” Molly asked excitedly.

“No, this is one of the smaller ones.” Collin replied.
He didn’t even stop to consider the question and what his answer implied.

“Damn. Fuck me.” Molly barked.

Collin winced again. One too many times for his liking.

“Please refrain from cursing.” Collin spoke up.

“Right. I’m a Heaven Hellhound now. Gotta be fancy and shit.” Molly replied.

Collin sighed, and then took the handle of the front door and opened it.

“You don’t have locks?” She asked, amazed.

“It’s not like there are Demons in Heaven…”

He froze as the words had slipped from his lips.

“Did you just f-reaking sass me?” Molly said with a shit eating grin.

She suddenly wrapped an arm around his head and pulled his face into her chest.

“I’m making such a difference already.” She teased.

“It w-w-was an observation!” Collin replied as he struggled against her grasp.
He tried really hard to not think about how warm her fur was against his body.

Once he had been freed, he showed her around.

His home had an entrance hallway, a sizable living room, a proper kitchen, a downstairs bathroom and an upstairs bathroom. A master bedroom, a guest bedroom, a spare room just for the sake of it. And a god damn basement that seemed bigger than the first floor.

And now, Molly had all of that.

He left her to put her things away while he went to change and clean himself up.

Molly took her bags upstairs.

She took a passing look at the guest bedroom before stepping into his bedroom instead.
The backpack was left near the bed while the suitcase she put near the wardrobe.

Collin’s bed was big.

Big for a Cherub at least, but only just large enough for her.

“Cosy.” She smirked.

Heading back downstairs, she looked at the decorative plates on the wall and glanced into the fridge to see what wonderful things Heaven had. She found a lot of sugar. Sweet foods, rich in cream and vanilla and such soft flavours as well as many fresh fruits.

It was real vanilla too.

Molly took a can of spray cream, shook it, then squirted a bunch into her mouth.

Going to the living room she found Collin. Neatly dressed, with a bow tie.

She stepped over, and threw herself onto the small sofa so hard that it almost snapped under her sizable weight. She threw an arm over the back of it before looking around at the sparse decorations.

“This place is great.” Molly said as she took another mouth full of cream.

“This was a mistake.” Collin spoke up suddenly as he stared into the carpet.

“Buyer’s regret, huh? It’ll pass.” She replied, as casual as ever.

“I d-don’t know if they will let you stay. And I might get in trouble, and…”

Collin called out as he felt like crying again.

“I don’t even know what I was thinking.”

Molly put a hand on his shoulder.
Her grasp was firm but gentle, and Collin did find it comforting.

“The guy at the station did sign off on me so it’ll be fine. I know you don’t vibe with the ‘wife’ idea, so we could be roommates? Just a couple of buddies. Just two normal buddy friend buddies. Living together in the same house. Going on walks. Nothing strange with that.”
Molly said with a wag of her tail.

Collin let out a groan as he buried his face into his hands.

“You look like you need a drink. What do the bars serve around here?” Molly asked.

“Iced tea.” Collin replied.

“Mmm, great. Just what you need after a hard day.”

Molly said, just barely suppressing her sarcasm.

“You like that stuff?” She then asked.

“Who doesn’t? It’s one of the reasons I live on the summer side.”

“Perfect, let’s get going then!” Molly said before taking a third mouth full of cream.

She picked Collin up off the sofa before handing him her leash.

“I have no idea where anything is.” She said joyfully.

“Right. Let’s go to the bar.” Collin said wearily.

---0---

The local iced tea bar was just a short walk down the road.
In fact it felt like everything was a short walk away in Heaven.
Molly wasn’t sure if that was good city planning or some kind of non-euclidean magic.

She strolled through the doors of the bar like nothing they had seen.
Tall, beautiful, sexy, barely dressed.

Molly winked at one Cherub sitting at a little table and sipping his little drink.
He popped a little boner so hard that it almost flipped the table clear over.

The slack jawed faces of the Angels grew even more surprised as Collin followed her a second later. Holding her on a leash. To them, in their minds, it was the most powerful thing they had ever seen. A small Cherub, barely half of her size, commanding a beautiful and terrible Hellhound beast.

They had so many questions but they didn’t dare to ask.
How could they even approach a Cherub of such standing?

Collin however thought the exact opposite as the stares made him want to die on the spot.

Molly swaggered up to the bar, threw an arm onto the cool wood and leaned in.
“Sup. I’ll have whatever he’s having.” She said while nodding to Collin behind her.

He fluttered his wings and got closer.
Collin swallowed. His head felt light.

“Double lemon honey with mint please.” He said.

“Make mine extra large.” Molly added.

Collin was so thankful that iced tea is quicker to make than normal tea.
Molly grabbed both of the cups and they left just as quick as they had entered.

But instead of going to one of the many outside tables, Molly instead led him over to the side of the building. She sat down on a small stone wall that separated the parking lot from the street.

“Why aren't we sitting at a table?” Collin asked as he did join her.

“Because we’re friends. And friends don’t sit at tables.”
Molly explained as she gave him his cup.

Collin didn’t quite understand.

She then took a long and slow sip of her drink.

“Oh yeah that really hits the spot.” She said sarcastically.

Molly watched from the corner of her eye as he took a drink.
Collin sighed peacefully, it had been a long time since he last had some.

He took another.

“So, do you have a dick or not?” Molly suddenly asked.

Collin nearly choked.

“P-p-pardon?”

“It’s a reasonable question.”

“How is that r-reasonable?” He loudly asked.

Molly let out a laugh. A genuine laugh that made him feel less awkward somehow.
But then her expression got more serious.

“Most of Hell doesn’t know anything about Angels you know. I always thought you were all these, genderless robots made of light and glass. That you just drank nectar and played checkers all day. Imagine how crazy it was to see you show up at the Kennels. You had a face, and emotions, and all these little things that I never thought Angels had.” Molly explained.

And Collin began to understand.

“But like. You are packing nothing even though most of the Angels around here have pants or something. So what gives. Do you have something? It’s been a ride trying to figure you out.”

“I see how that is quite a reasonable question now. Um, it’s magic. Many Angels such as myself like to have a greater amount of modesty so we use blessings. It’s just an illusion.” He explained.

“Illusion. So it’s just hanging out right now but invisible?”
She asked, while very obviously looking for it.

“No! The b-blessing provides protection and comfort. More like… Invisible pants.”
Collin explained further.

Molly took a long sip.

“So if I stripped, and you cast that on me. It would be fine to walk around?” She asked.

Collin was not sure if he should answer that or how he should answer it.

“Technically?” He managed to reply.

“Neat, and knowing magic is cool. That for your job?” She asked.

“Oh I don’t have a job anymore.” Collin shook his head.

“But you used to.” Molly teased.

He sighed.

And he began to tell her of his life.

The simple ice cream job he had nearly a century ago that he loved.
How he began to want to help more so he joined up with Keenie and Cletus.

The hardships of working with CHERUB.

Then there was his exile from Heaven.
Surviving for a time on Earth with those two.

And then getting caught up with the Humans and their war with Hell.

He didn’t even mean to get so deep into his life.
It just felt nice to be able to talk to someone and have them listen.

“Quite the ride you’ve been on.” Molly spoke up.

“Mhm.” Collin muttered as he watched the ice melt in his drink.

“I think I’ve got an idea on what will help.”

“Oh?” Collin asked.

“Mhm. Camping.” Molly said seriously.

“Camping?” He repeated.

“Camping!” Molly suddenly shouted in a sing-song voice.

Raisin Bread 11 - Staycation
Stained Glass 3 - Catharsis
Molly is good at reading people and is flexible in fitting into a role. Compared to other options, getting sold to an Angel with a pass into Heaven has to be akin to winning the lottery as well. Although there is some sort of comedy with how a teenage escort gets to be the first Demon to ascend from the pits.

This new form of writing has been good so far.
It's easier to read on Ao3, which I'm also now posting to.
My account is here if you wanna give me a follow.

There shall be boops, for she has a loveable snoot.

This...was so fun to read i enjoyed both of them and I completly fell in love with Molly. When she asked if he had a duck or not then it turned out to be so honestly brazen that ot looped right back around to innocence I knew she was perfect.

Molly: "Camping!"
Colin: "Camping?"
Molly: "It's OK, I'll help you pitch a tent!"

Enjoying the series but it felt that Molly changed her behaviour a little too fast when compared to the first part.
I presume it's because once the contract was made some of her caution about scaring him off faded.

Doe we the reader actually know her well enough yet to tell if she's acting out of charachter?

Reasonably, no.
It's only been 2 chapters, with her being in very different situations in both.
