The Situation Sunday my mom called me to tell me my cat hasn't been eating and that she's not as lively. I hoped it was just depression cuz she was missing me and hoped she'd get better.
Nevertheless I instructed my mom what pate to buy and how to feed her with a serynge, like my vet instructed me for my other 2 now dead cats, and hoped I'd get some money from art commissions to go there to take her to the vet. Sadly that didn't happen and I'm out of options.
And her state has continued to decline to the point where she can't move doesn't even accept the food from the serynge (mom said she clenches her teeth and refuses to accept it and this morning she told me she vomitted everything she gave her). On Tuesday mom did call a vet student to come see her at the recommendation of one of her friends, he came consulted her at home, said her teeth are good and her lungs sound good and told her what tests to do (I already know from my other cats) and gave her an anti vomitting pill a parasite killing pill and some injections with B12 Iron and Electrolites. I hoped that would help her a bit and give her some apetite, mom said it didn't. So now I'm extremely worried because she keeps getting worse.
Context About me First some context about me, so you understand why I can't help her on my own. I have been made redundant at my last job last year (2025) in March. I have been unable to find a job since then. I had some savings so I thought it'd last me till I find a job, I moved to a diff city (on the other side of the country from where I used to live with mom and my toxic brother) for university and to get away from my toxic brother because my mental state was at it's limit.
My plan was to get her here where I live now as soon as I landed a job. Unfortunately I ran out of savings in October and have been surviving on friend loans. I started taking art commissions to try to make a living this way, but it hasn't been going very well, as I only received a few chibi commissions in december when they were 40% discounted for holidays. My mother has a job where she just sits with an old lady to keep her company most of the day, but the money she gets from that barely covers rent and bills for herself. My brother is unemployed and also can't find a job. I have no other solution, my family has abandoned me when I needed them the most, and they don't care for cats so if they didn't help me why would they help my cat and I can't land a job, I apply and I'm not even called for interviews, I only had one interview in december and I didn't go further because my German level wasn't advanced (I'm B1 they wanted C1).
I'm also still accepting commssions if anyone would like to order this is my shop {LINK REMOVED} At the moment only have chibis, but I can add regular anime style illustrations if anyone expresses interest (I also draw furries and any ships).
My Cat Tasha
Tasha is 9 years old, she'll turn 10 in september. I found her back in 2016 during a very cold october (it was literally winter with no snow). She was barely a month old.
I was walking on the street at night very far from home after leaving a friend's place, I suddenly started hearing some desperate kitten meows so I immediately started searching for her, found her under a car, she immediately came to me when i ps psed her.
I pet her a bit but she looked clean so I thought she belonged to one of the houses that were around, but then an old man comes out through a gate and sees me petting her and tells me she was abandoned by someone here a few days ago.
So I instantly decided to take her home, at first since I already had 2 cats and wasn't doing great financially I thought I'd foster her until I find her a home, but it didn't take long for me to fall in love with her so I decided I have 3 cats not 2 as of that day.
She's extremely loving and clingy and has been since I brought her home that night. She used to sleep only with me on my chest or next to my head.
My mom also told me she walked in my room a couple of times during the night and she saw her just sitting next to my face looking at me, as if she was making sure I'm sleeping safely. I love her and she loves me, to the point where if I left the house she'd cry and look for me all day (even though my mom was also home) and when I came back home she'd wait for me by the door like a dog and then would follow me around and meow until I sat down to pat her. While I was at home she'd only stay in the room I was in, most times even on the desk where I was at or on my lap.
She is very playful and energetic and still so young! I don't want to lose her, I can't lose her, I'm still suffering from my other 2 cats dying in 2022 and 2023, I can't handle not being able to even take her to the vet to see what's wrong, I can't handle just sitting around waiting for her to die. I am imploring anyone who can please even 1$ will help and spreading the word. I can't explain how much she means to me. I beg you, please help me save my cat!
I lost so much sleep in the past 4 days because I can't sleep I cry all night and feel so desperate and lost and hateful for the situation I'm in and that I'm so powerless to help my innocent baby, I need your help, I can't save her without you....
