Happy late-New Year, everybody!🥳
Hope everyone's had a good Christmas, a good holiday season, and a good New Year's Eve/Day with some friends or fam or what have you?
Apologies for the lack of new art for the past few weeks. I've been dealing with ups and downs of life, some art block, and even seasonal sickness a week before Christmas.🤒
I generally don't like to be too negative, but 2025 in general was a pretty shit year, no different than the year prior in terms of personal things like family problems and mental health. But thanks to a new day program I've been attending since August, and all the great support you guys have been giving me with my art, and even me creating art in general, things have been picking up a little more progressively.😀
And I recently got my groove back in making some new art, thanks to a cool new little sketchbook I bought from Target with my program group, starting with this special vent pic I've sketched less than a couple weeks ago, starring myself, as well as the bright-eyed, bubbly young raccoon kit I was back in the day, wearing an elementary school uniform of navy blue and white.
*good times, good times.
*sigh* God I miss those days tbh, but at the same time, it’s also good to know that even in the present, as bleak as things might seem, it’s always good to know that better days are just beyond that horizon, even those that can be as good as when you were young, when taken into account.🌄
Anyways, Happy late-2026 y’all, expect some more art both cute and naughty from me in the future. I may not work on everything all at once or at a super quick pace for obvious reasons, but I look forward to bringing more to the table and even what surprises might come this year in general. I mean, the year just got started, this is only the beginning.
