A rule I had to learn as a kid. A good host makes sure all his guests get to eat first. If he runs out for himself, that's too bad: always make due for others.
I know right I hated that with every birthday because my mom always made sure I gave everyone else's a slice of cake before my own but as an adult I don't have to worry so much but I still make sure I always give my party guests a slice before my own . thanks Mom I love you
