A warm day greets the town of Ponyville, and the various residents go about their days, greeting friends, going to school or work, or just keeping to themselves. One such pony in the latter group – A white-furred, purple-maned-and-tailed unicorn named Rarity – Trots along the path, looking around for something to inspire her for a new design of dress she could make. So far, though, her efforts have been in vain – She knows this town all too well, and unfortunately for her, there hasn't been much change recently, at least not enough to give her any ideas for her boutique.
Or so she thinks, anyway, until she spots something colorful off the main path a ways away.
Deciding to get a better look, Rarity heads along the side path to the quiet cottage with quite a garden out front that wraps around behind the home!
Impressed already, she steps closer, amazed to find all kinds of different flowers and other plants here, including several she's never seen before! So many different colors – She knows she could make an entire line of dresses themed around this garden!
Rarity decides she wants to meet the owner of the display, and she heads to the front door – Ignoring the large 'No Trespassing' sign on it – And knocks on it with her hoof.
A few seconds later, it opens, revealing a Pegasus stallion with fur blacker than a shadow, and a mane and tail both colored midnight blue and purple.
"Hello?" He tilts his head softly, a bit confused to see a visitor. "Can I help you?"
The mare smiles warmly, fluttering her eyelashes at him. "Hello to you! I must say, that's quite an exquisite garden you have!"
A gentle smile crosses the stallion's muzzle. "Heh, well, thank you. I'm rather proud of it."
"You should be!"
An awkward second passes in silence, before the mare speaks again. "I'm Rarity; enchanted to meet you."
The stallion nods. "I'm Eclipse. And I think I've heard of you – You run that dress shop in town, don't you?"
Rarity grins. "That I do; the Carousel Boutique! And that's actually why I stopped by – I was looking for inspiration for a new line, and I believe your garden could serve me well with that!"
Eclipse blinks softly, tilting his head in the other direction. "You want to… Make dresses out of my plants?"
"No no, I want to make dresses inspired by your plants! Floral patterns are in right now, and your garden is so unique; I bet the Eclipse Extravaganza would be the talk of Equestria!"
To this, though, Eclipse shakes his head. "I don't know about that… I wouldn't want anyone to come and damage my garden for souvenirs – Those flowers are extremely special to me."
Rarity smiles. "I wouldn't tell anyone where I got the inspiration!"
The stallion's eyes narrow as he hears this. "You're literally naming the line after me, though."
"Ah, the name isn't set in stone yet. Would you care to show me around?"
"Well, actually, I was-"
"Great!"
The mare practically drags Eclipse out of his home – Making him yelp softly – And she brings him to his garden.
"I really love these! Daffodils, and marigolds, and daisies, and… Ah, it's all so lovely!"
Awkwardly, Eclipse nods. "Y-Yeah…"
Rarity excitedly moves to the side of the house, her expression lowering softly when she sees a bunch of brilliant blue flowers. "Is that Poison Joke?"
Eclipse clears his throat. "Yeah, it is. Risky, but very pretty."
"Uh… What's the one beside it?"
The stallion, without looking, responds "The purple ones are Moth Orchids, and the red ones are-"
"Yes, the red ones! They look so pretty!"
Rarity steps close to them, making Eclipse blink softly.
"Uh, I wouldn't do that if I were you…"
The unicorn pays him no mind, stepping close to the red flowers and taking a deep sniff – Only to sneeze, then quite suddenly shrink in size to about three inches tall!
"What the- Eclipse? What happened?!"
The stallion chuckles quietly. "I tried to warn you. It's called Shrinklily, for… Reasons that ought to be apparent now."
He smiles. "It's actually related to Poison Joke, but normally it only grows in-"
"Eclipse!"
He pauses, looking at the shrunken white mare. "Yes?"
"I'm tiny!"
"That you are."
"So help me!"
Eclipse giggles gently. "Right, sure."
Stepping over, he carefully lifts Rarity in his hoof, looking closely at her.
"Shrinklily effects are actually pretty hard to counter, but there is a way. You might not like it, though…"
The tiny mare shouts "I don't care; whatever it is, I'll do it!"
Eclipse smirks. "Alright, your call."
Slowly, he opens his mouth in front of her, revealing a cavern of midnight-purple flesh to the unicorn. His broad, flat tongue ripples softly behind his equine teeth, and his uvula sways in front of his flexing gullet. He exhales breath that smells like vanilla cream onto her as his lips curl into an eager grin.
Rarity's eyes widen. "E-Eclipse, what are you- Ack!"
She yelps as he quickly tosses her onto his tongue, closing his mouth and trapping her in the dark, fleshy cavern of his maw.
"Augh! What are you doing to me, Eclipse?!"
The stallion, stepping back inside, chuckles softly around the pony in his mouth. His voice resonates around her, loud but audible. "I'm helping you, like you asked."
Rarity whines as the saliva soaks into her fur, mane, and tail. "How is this supposed to help me? My mane is ruined!"
The tongue beneath her curls up, licking her nice and slowly, dragging the bumpy papillae over the struggling mare. It seems quite interested in her taste, going by how thoroughly it licks over her!
"Anyone ever tell you that you taste just like marshmallows?"
"Eclipse, this isn't funny! Spit me out!"
The stallion lets out another quiet giggle. "Hate to disagree, but I think it's pretty funny. And you don't want to be tiny forever, right? Just trust me."
Rarity whines at this, not exactly enjoying being covered in slobber like this nor being savored like a treat. What did this have to do with getting big again?
Her concerns only grow as she feels the tongue tilting back, making her slide towards the waiting throat. She screams and scrabbles at the tongue, to absolutely no effect, and a quiet squeak escapes her as she drops into the stallion's gullet.
"Eclipse, no, don't-!"
Glllck!
Rarity's protests are cut off as Eclipse swallows, sending her writhing form down his esophagus with a muscular wave of peristalsis. She tries to struggle, but her efforts accomplish nothing effective beyond tickling the stallion. Not that it discourages her from trying, even as she hears the steady thumping of his heartbeat and the whooshing of air in his lungs as she passes by the organs.
Her voice only raises even higher when she squishes against the sphincter to his belly, smushed against it for a moment before it relaxes and lets her drop inside the chamber. She splashes into the fluids at the bottom, making her sputter and wail.
"Eclipse, what did you do to me?!"
From outside, she hears another chuckle, followed by his voice. "I swallowed you, silly."
"Why did you do that?!"
"I'm helping you get big again, remember?"
Rarity whines. "But how is this supposed to help me? I'm gonna need so many baths to get clean again!"
Eclipse laughs softly. "I can guarantee you that you will not."
"What? How?!"
The stallion only chuckles, not answering her.
Rarity looks around the chamber, glad it's at least empty save for her. She doesn't know how this is supposed to help her, but she doesn't really have any choice but to trust him.
It's not like she can get out on her own, after all.
But she soon feels the stomach walls shift, making her slip back into the pool of fluids. Coughing softly, she tries to climb out, but finds her hooves are growing numb.
"E-Eclipse? I… I think your stomach is… It's starting to…"
"Digest you? Yeah, that's what stomachs do, you know."
"But… How is this supposed to help me get big again?"
Again, Eclipse laughs softly. "I'll tell you in a moment."
Rarity squirms at this. "I don't think I have a moment! Help me, please!"
"I am helping you. First I eat you, then you digest."
The mare pauses for a moment, then wails loudly again. "But I thought you were gonna help me get big again!"
The stallion chuckles. "I am. Once you digest, just reform yourself, and you'll be good as new."
Rarity blinks. Her body is growing softer, and she can't feel her hooves anymore.
"But I can't do that! I can't reform myself!"
"Oh, really?" Eclipse asks, in a tone that carries absolutely no surprise whatsoever. "Well, that sucks, I guess."
"So what do I do?!"
He pats his belly, laughing quietly. "Well… You can take comfort knowing you were quite tasty."
"Ecli-" blurble
The mare's last whine is cut off as she sinks beneath the fluids while Eclipse's stomach contracts, and the last thing she hears is the stallion muttering "That'll teach you not to trespass."
When his belly relaxes again, he feels no more movement inside, and he chuckles.
"Almost a shame… Almost." He snickers, musing to himself. "I almost want to take the sign down; see if I can get any more snacks to wander by…"
