phew, here it is...
lol so this project is finally finished. it took me a really long time and has given me some keen insights into how I wish to pursue writing jazz songs going forward. A small portion of the melody for this tune was hummed along to me by a friend back in 2018. and in 2023, I decided to go ahead and work it into something bigger. Once that was done, the next step was to harmonize it with chords, and wow! that took me FOREVER! but it is FINALLY done now, and ready to post!
.... I think from now on, with Jazz songs, I will start with the chord progression and THEN create the melody >.<
