First comm of 2026!!
A fun fullbody commission I ordered from toastytrashbird (on instagram) at the mega con Manchester July 2025 (which took 5 months of waiting which was worth the wait due to health reasons which I understand) who drawn of our 2 love birds those are Captain Scorcher (land form) and Merpup marina (merpup form) having a seaside stroll on a summers day which made marinas dream come true what she always wanted to do with her husband but Scorcher was really happy that he did.
Scorcher and marina are about to head out on their 50th date (sarcastic) but this time it’s scorchers turn to make this date special without letting Marina on what’s going to happen. As scorcher was in the king and queens room on his own planning the date while marina sort out our children by asking coral to look after them again, he thinks really hard and had been looking through our dating photos throughout the years to see what we have done together until scorcher have realised something on what we have never done before in years which gave him the perfect idea for our 50th date and that is a fairytale date like in the little mermaid book where the prince/king carry a mermaid into his arms and have a seaside stroll on the beach while the mermaid sings a beautiful lullaby at him to show their love to him and at halfway we have dinner by the fire along the way because every mermaid loves being carried by a prince while having a sea side stroll which is a dream come true for them. So of he went starting to plan out the date by getting his pirate outfit from his wardrobe, put it in a treasure chest and bury it on a beach but to make things easy, he’s gonna use Merpup magic to teleport the chest to a beautiful sandy beach he knows and loves so that’s what he did by rubbing his collar and the chest poofs away to its destination.
Once I have finished and got myself ready by grooming myself and picking my scales ect, Marina had arrived that she has sorted our children but she noticed that I was ready so she said “arf arf (hey my love, coral is looking after our children but i haven’t got ready for our special date so would you help me out please)”. I reply (hey babe, aww coral is always the trusted Merpup who’ll look after our children and sure I’ll help you”) Marina gets prepared while I have helped her by grooming her fluffy purple and white fur coat shiny, brushed her ears nice and tidy while she did the rest by herself what girls like to do before they go out on a date ect and a few minutes later she is now ready meaning we both ready to go to celebrate our 50th date.
So we both left puplantis as we did, Marina ask “arooo (so baby, where are you taking me on this sunny day on our 50th date ?). Scorcher said “somewhere special to celebrate it and you have to wait and find out until we get there by swimming with our colourful fishtails”. Marina giggle while I giggle along throughout the trip with chatter and singing to entertain. A few miles later we have arrived but we see a hill of sand heading upwards towards the surface but were still in the deep end where we see a tower of rocks also head up to the surface and Marina said “arfers (aww babe, we having the special date on the beach but we been to the beach about 5 dates ago but I don’t recognise this underwater area, including this tower rock but no clue what the beach look like but I am excited to see what it looks like)”.
Scorcher reply “yes we are but I know we had but this beach is very special to me and I’m sure it would be special for both of us my love so where we are now is the best view of the beach by swimming up to the surface and climb onto this rock. Ready to see babe ? As I hold her paw as marina nodded yes as we both swim up to the surface and climb onto the rock.
When we climb up the rock to get the best view all we see is a 3 mile long beautiful beach full of clear crystal sea (which we both already know that lol), clear white smooth sand, loads of palm trees and all sorts you would find on a tropical. Marina was awed in amazement on what she’s seeing by telling when her eyes sparkle in beauty when she said “arooooo!! (Oh my starfish!! This beach looks so beautiful to have a date on, why I didn’t know this was here but i haven’t got used to the underwater surroundings first but let’s focus on our date hehe and what’s this under my paw? It looks like a treasure map, are we doing a treasure hunt hehe?)”.
Scorcher reply “yep it sure is a beautiful beach which I know a lot when I was a puppy sailing through these seas with my family when we played on this beach to look for treasure. Mmm I’m not if any Merpup have explored this beach before but the beach and the sea in this area is safe for every Merpup to explore and to have fun and yes your right let’s focus on our date by beautiful Merpup wife but do you have any idea if any Merpup came here ?”. Marina reply “arf (awww that’s so sweet about your history here. However as I’m aware no, no Merpup hasn’t explored here so I am the first Merpup to discover this beach and you are right it is safe my darling. And this map?”)
Scorcher reply “oh yes the map, yes we are going on a treasure hunt but first you have read map to give me directions to find the “X”by staying on this rock while I find it, are you in ?.
Marina reply “arf aroo (arr i am ready captain hehe but i am the captain now hehe”).
Scorcher reply “arrmazing, let’s do this baby!!.”
Marina read the map* and she said “first it says that you have to be in land form in order to find the treasure…oooo sexy land scorcher time in his underwear hehe”).
Scorcher reply “hehe of course it would say that, treasure here we come!! *i kiss Marina as I jump of the rock, swim towards the shore to beached myself so I can transform myself into a land anthro dog in my underwear as Marina panted and blush in love looking at me as i blush too “you like what your seeing babe ?”
Marina reply “Arf arf aroo (I sure do babe and i love when you transform yourself into a anthro dog or a feesh but you still look so sexy in your underwear hehe. *reading the map* next take 5 steps forward, 3 steps to the left and 6 steps to the right”).
Scorcher listen to marinas instructions and did exactly what he’s been told and said “ok I have done it, what’s next love?”
Marina reply while reading the map “arf arf (next take take 4 steps left, 7 steps straight towards the palm tree love”)
Scorcher continues taking every step by sniffing and went towards the palm tree and said “are we getting close ?”
Marina reply “way-oh (we are getting close, next take 10 steps right, 8 steps left and 5 steps straight when you find a pile of stones marking X under a….a love heart palm tree *she can see the love heart shaped palm trees* awww so cute hehe. Can you see it love ? That’s where the treasure is yay!!”)
Scorcher took the final steps while sniffing around and he can see it and reply “yep I can see it babe and I see the X!! But let’s see if it is the right spot.” He stand under the palm tree where the X shaped stones are mark and I start to dig deep, a few seconds later I have hit something and it was the a treasure chest as I shouted “we have found the chest babe!!! I’ll bring it over” I can hear her cheering in the distance as lifted it out and carried it all the way back to marina as she bounce and singing with joy seeing me coming back with a treasure chest as she hopped of the rock and swim to the shallow end to me and scorcher said “we did a great job babe finding treasure all thanks to you and wow you are good at reading treasure maps which I love hehe”).
Marina said “arf raf (we sure did my starfish and yes I love finding and reading treasure maps in search for treasure which us Merpups treasure experts just like you scorcher babe but I love when you find treasure very easy with your nose it’s so adorable hehe because you are a pirate expert and what’s in the chest babe?)”, I reply “hehe we both do have in common babe and I’m happy that I have married you. Mmm I’m not sure what’s inside so let’s see shall we” when we open the chest, it reveals my pirate outfit “it’s my pirate outfit babe, might as well put it on *got his outfit out of the chest and put it on*”
Marina reply “arf arff (that’s strange, how did your pirate outfit ended up here? Is this a clue ?”)
Scorcher reply “yes my outfit is a big clue including my land form self, and you in Merpup form. Any idea what we’re gonna do on our 50th date ?”
marina lay on the rock thinking what it is and said “arf arf arf (is it a date when you kiss me on the beach like what we did in 2022 ?because I love that”) scorcher reply “close but its something way much better, it’s something we have never done before in years since we first met. Do you want another clue ?”. Marina nodded yes so I approached towards her and he said “raise your arms” so Marina did what she asked and then scorcher lifted marina into his arms as she put her arm around my shoulders for support as I walk away from the sea onto the soft sand and ask “you comfy babe ?” And Marina reply “arf aroo (yes babe it feels comfortable and romantic when you carry me like this hehe and hold on a sec) *she thinks again on this clue and realised on what’s gonna happen when her fishtail waves quickly with excitement “arf aroooo!!! (Wait…oh my seashells oh my seashells is our date a fairytale date like in the little mermaid book where the land prince carry a mermaid into his arms and have a seaside stroll on the beach while the mermaid sings a beautiful lullaby at him to show their love to him my love?!?!”)
Scorcher smile by watching her in excitement when he reply “hehe surprise!!! Yes it is my love because when I was looking through our photo album at home we have never done this before on a beach, well we nearly did which was a number of years ago date. So are you ready?!”
marina sings in happiness while bouncing with joy saying “aroooo way-oh!! (Oh my seashells yes yes yes babe!!! I’m so ready and I have been waiting to do this for a long time on a date and now my dream is about to come true because this was on my wish lists in my diary *she kisses me everywhere*”).
Scorcher reply “hehe oh babe..wait i didn’t know you have a diary and I’m really happy that I’ve made your dream to come true. So let’s make our special day to remember for a lifetime on our 50th date. And most of all marina…I love you to the moon and back my marina”. Marina reply “arf arooo (i love you to the moon and back to my scorchy and thank you for making my wish come true and yes i do have a diary at home and im sure you do too hehe but you can have a read when we get home.”).
Scorcher reply “hehe don’t thank me yet we haven’t got started, yes i have a diary too, ohh i shall read it too see what you put about me and what other wishes you want. Anyway let’s get strolling”
*we both kissed together start strolling on the beach together as marina start to sing her lullaby to me as i listen to her music including singing along with her to make her even more happy. We kept on singing together all throughout the date by walking up and down the beach from the sun shining to the moon rises as the sun sets
It was the best date ever to remember and Scorcher and Marina were very happy, especially for Marina that her dream came true what she really wanted and now she can cross it out in her diary.
