I've aluded to making a NSFW point and click adventure game that is centered around Talespin in some of my previous posts, but now I'm actually in the process of making it. The story of the game being set right after Babysitting Molly's ending and having references to it spread throughout (if you read the lore chapters, that's why all that is there, I had this game in mind when writing it). The actual story of the game... well, I haven't got that far, just that there's gonna be animated sex scenes with Rebecca, Baloo, Wildcat, Molly, Khan, and a few origional characters I'm gonna try to design. And if possible, be able to play as characters other than Kit :)
I found https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/ after researching how I'd actually be able to make a point and click game that still kept the old Lucas Art style (Sam and Max Hit the Road, Monkey island ect..) and feel. But also allowed for animated cutscenes for the NSFW parts and everything else that makes a good porn game. AGS is honestly a great game engine because its learning curve isn't a verticle cliff like most 3d game engines, but just enough of a incline to keep you learning while not getting burnt out or overly frustrated.
In my attempts to get Kit and Molly in one consistant scene together with different incompatable loras to finish off Babysitting Molly, I found https://invoke.ai/ . I've watched a bunch of tutorial videos on how to use it and oh my goodness it makes ComfyUI look like going from writing assembly code to python (coding nerds will get that one). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYQaZOG95-g This is what I mean, having a image editor built into the AI image generation program and also being able to fully edit images and manipulate them in real time is a tool I've been wanting for years now. I can draw the scenes, and then run them through Controlnet Canny to get the lines, mask of each part of the image, use Flux with a pixel art lora to get the right style, and piece by piece turn the concept art I draw into rendered images with AI. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdpnazNI4Ig more on Invoke.
Also, https://mega.nz/folder/1XJQhLxZ#8eQnOCOVn68WPZ6O8Rkwsw is a very rough and dirty concept video of the background being used in AGS, also Kit's rough place holder sprite. All of this is just me learning how to use everything and nowhere near the final result ;p
Background image drawn by me, zero AI used in its creation. Photoshop and geometry tool perspective lines used to get 3 point perspective.
