Since it is my birthday today, I thought I would share one of the first images I ever made that I was happy with. I drew this way back in May of 1998, and I believe this was feature in South Fur Lands.
As one can see, I have improved greatly since then, but sometimes it is good to look back to see where you have been, to help give perspective on where you have been and where you are going. I can recall what I was going for here, and maybe I might re-draw this sometime, just to have a side by side...
I could use some more perspective, and maybe a bit of a chuckle. Life has been hitting hard, but I should still take time to appreciate what I have, count my blessings as it were, and be grateful for all of you who have offered support, liked & commented, and have generally stuck around to enjoy the art I push out, when I can that is.
I am going to have a lay down now, then have my free Denny's Grand-slam in the morning!
