First pic of the year, and this time it's being done in comic format.
Continuing on from where we left off with Mocha, she calls in her co-worker Kiara to help analyze the situation with the present, and brings some tools to better understand the weird quirks this box is giving off. After using the temp gun on it, she believes the box is not at all hot, but the energy it's giving off not only she can feel it too, but it's clinging onto her hands like a vacuum sucking in debris. After getting the OK from Mocha to cut through the wrapping paper, she pulls out the box cutter and dabs it onto one of the ribbons. Once it made contact, the blade itself shatters, a loud screech rumbles both girls ears, and a "blast shield" emits off the surface from where the blade was going to stab. With this little revelation now made known to them, Kiara was paused and left in shocked, she stood there stiff eyeing her now broken box cutter wondering what had happened, but came to the conclusion- the present is sealed by a magic barrier. With no other viable way to crack it open, she asks Mocha if the Mareep knows any other Psychic types other than Cyan, who could lend a hand on this bizarre item... Unknown to both of them, an unfamiliar entity has gained awareness from the moment of impact, but it's not strong enough to budge out from it's captivity...🖤💜
