It's really the first time I ever made a cake sculpture that stands up. It wasn't easy, but I did pull it through. I also use gum paste to make the small Cream cosplay figures. It's also a first. In case you want to know the gumpaste figures, they are, in left to right, Shimigami Cream, Cheerleader Cream, Maid Cream, and Scientist Cream. Would I do it again? Umm . . . I'm not making a living with these, so I won't make too much effort on another cake sculpture.
By the way, it was made for Cream's 10th birthday in Japan, back in December 19, 2002. So . . . it's long gone by now. I can tell you that it was tasty.
I also included two sketches of Cream cosplay characters. They are my inspiration for the figures.
