The King of Upper and Lower Egypt, and his fivefold royal titulary. The king (pharaoh is an anachronism and was never the primary title of the king even when it did come into fashion) had five names, the last of which is his birth name, and is the one we usually use today.

In this case, his birth name (or Son of Ra name) is Sekhmetmesu - Born of Sekhmet

And as a final note, Horu is the god the Greeks called "Horus"

Huh, today I learned something. Thank you!

Learning is great, especially when paired with art of a cute shota kitty!

Yeah, pharaoh only starts to appear at the (illegal) reign of the (usurper) Queen Hatshepsut in the 18th dynasty, due likely in part to her obvious failure of being the wrong gender for a king. So, they start using 'pharaoh' which is actually per-ah (great house, or palace) now, you have to remember, this is not like a title in the way 'king' is - it's a way of referring to the king. A modern example would be in Commonwealth nations, we refer to the government as a whole as "The Crown" or you might say when the Russian government does something "The Kremlin says..." "The White House issued an statement..." or sometimes we use cities "Beijing responded with..." etc.

We in the modern day get the term 'pharaoh' from of course, the Greek, Roman, and Jewish pseudohistorical fanfiction titled The Bible, which is why it's spelled in a corrupted Greek fashion.
