Phew. This one took longer than I would have liked. Outfit pics always do partly because of some procrastination. Well anyway here it finally is Liggy did up a new species inspired by Kerbal Space Program. As always with new species there'll be a codex entry on the species and info on the character.

The Kouran have no terrestrial analogue. Their metabolism is variable allowing them to generate or not generate their own body heat as needed. In times of hardship they can even go into a hibernation until their situation improves. The Kouran homeworld Kourix is smaller than earth and possesses a thinner atmosphere. Humans visiting Kourix describe it like being mid way up a mountain or worse. The Kouran themselves are an intelligent and adaptable species who now reside on every continent of their planet. Although technologically they are only at a 20'th or 21st century level of development technologically they are a united people. The various nations of their world formed a global government comprised of representatives from each nation and a leader which is elected by the planet's population about once every decade. One aspect of their society readily apparent is their drive to explore which has led them into space. A task which is less treacherous for them as they seem to be more resistant to radiation than humans and their muscle mass doesn't seem affected in the least by the lack of gravity. They now have several small space stations in orbit, an array of satellites, have sent probes to their nearest Solar neighbors, and are currently planning to establish a permanent base on the larger of their planet's moons. Their space program however has recently relayed startling news to their populace. While scouting out a site on their larger moon for the permanent outpost they discovered and artificial structure which was in fact a human observation post. From this point the Kouran proceeded to make first Contact. As it now stands the Kouran are being aided along in their development by humanity. Within a few short decades they may well have their first few FTL capable ships.

Jeb Ke'nesh is a young engineering major working for he Kouran Global Space Program or KGSP. Having been fascinated with space since hie was a boy Jeb has worked hard to get where he is to day earning the best grades possible to land his current position in the space program as the crew engineer. His typical responsibilities are to monitor the space vehicle in flight as well as over see the payload and operate equipment. He has also done extensive work in repairing satellites, and has served a three month stint on one of Kouran's space stations. His personal life is alright having a number of friends despite some oddness to him. Jeb has always had a fascination with diapers and while never needing them past toddlerhood has always felt drawn to them and has worn them quite often. He now wears them most of the time as his work in space necessitates it on the job as diapers are used rather than a toileting facility of some sort. The diapers take up less space when vacuum sealed and weigh less than a toilet would as well as not being an additional drain on resources as a toilet would use up excess water or power. Jeb is likely the only Kouranaut to enjoy this aspect of their current space program.
