Kaikai, Maalum's mother, enjoys Christmas. She loves the lights, the star, the weird white cold thing... Everyone looks happy and kind around her, something she truly appreciates.

In an AU, this could be her wishing for Maalum to be safe and happy wherever he is. Or maybe she's just waiting for him.
In the end, Christmas still means love and gives her hope that everything will be fine.

I want to wish you all a wonderful Christmas full of joy, peace and all good things. Because the world doesn't need more chaos. This is a season for hope and love.
