The room was silent, except for the rhythmic, heavy breathing of four very full little heelers. Bluey, Bingo, Muffin, and Socks were sprawled across the rug like fallen balloons after a parade. Chilli’s Christmas desserts had clearly won the battle.
Bandit stepped into the room, adjusted his oversized belly inside his Santa Suit. He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw the scene.
Bandit: (Whispering to himself) Aw, biscuits... I knew we went overboard with the second helpings."
He tiptoed closer, his heavy boots thudding softly on the wooden floor. He looked down at Bluey and Bingo, who were snoring in sync.
Bandit: "Right then. Mission: Gift Drop is a go. Just gotta... squeeze... past this stuffed girls."
As he bent down to place a gift next to Bingo, Muffin let out a loud, sleepy mumble.
Muffin: (Dazed, eyes half-closed) "More... Mora cupcakes... I’m the... Queen... of the cupcakes..."
Bandit froze, holding his breath until Muffin drifted back into her food-induced slumber. He wiped a bead of sweat from his forehead and looked at Socks, who was curled up like a giant round pebble.
Bandit: (Sighing quietly) "Merry Christmas, you big girls. You definitely earned these presents... even if you can't move until Boxing Day."
He patted his own belly, gave a tired but satisfied smile, and crept back toward The Living Room to find a quiet place to collapse himself.
Hello guys, I hope you're all good. As I did in Halloween, I wantend to bring something for Christmas, now with two new characters (Muffin and Socks). I also wanted to give Bandit a look more of Santa, and I think I made it, heh.
