Disclaimer: I'm not targeting people who do AI art stuff. I really do not care about it, but this isn't targeting you guys, and I do not want anyone taking this the wrong way. Please do not start any flame wars over this vent art. This event with Bob Iger I am NOT HAPPY with, so it's moreso calling HIM OUT! And I am gonna express my frustration and anger about this, so don't take it personally, but PLEASE understand where I am getting at. Thanks for understanding.
This commission isn't meant to be hate art or anything. This... is sending a message about the dark future that Bob Iger is about to lead Disney to... Or at least, an even bleaker future than it is right now. And you all really... REALLY want to know what it is? I'm gonna give it to you anyways if the title or subtlety of the commission don't tell you already.
A lot of you may have heard the news already as it's spreading like wildfire, but..... recently.... the biggest Disney nightmare... Is unfortunately coming to pass. Stupid Bob Iger... GREENLIT... THE MOTHER FREAKING AI GENERATED SLOP THAT WE'RE GETTING SICK AND TIRED OF... FOR DISNEY+!!!!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
I really... Truly... prayed to God almighty with all of my heart... That this would not be a reality... As even Walt Disney would never, EVER be ok with this... That this was a nightmare we're all having and wanted something to wake us up from it......... But no. It's reality. OUR... REALITY... All because AI generated content's been inflating so much since 2024 and even now and that it's taking over the very existence of art and entertainment as we know it, with the greedy corporates seeing it as the ultimate 'gold mine' that is taking away HUMAN JOBS and tearing apart the most humane things that keep our content alive... and now Bob Iger's thrown his hat into the bloody ring. And for that cold hearted, soulless DASTARD... to greenlight and encourage AI generated trash for Disney+, even from random STRANGERS.. UN... REGULATED... Going against the very deepest ROOTS of what made Disney what it was back then from scratch, from a man, Walt Disney, who was poor in his childhood, got rejected of his ideas, had Oswald the Lucky Rabbit stolen from him... And still didn't give up, and made his dream come true that reshaped our PLANET... What Bob Iger did here is UNFORGIVING! Pushing for AI generated trash for Disney+, and therefore onto Disney itself is the ultimate BETRAYAL of Walt Disney's legacy... The legendary man himself built the Disney we knew and love from SCRATCH! Pencils and paper and a dream! And this is how Bob Iger chose to respect it? By destroying it?! 😢Generations of children and even grown ups grew up with Disney since it began and the legacy has been rooted in everyone's hearts, even if Disney didn't always have a clean record at times. Not everything from Disney is perfect, but when there are some good stuff they sure as heck do their best.
Hence why I commissioned the awesome artist NeoCOMET for this piece with Mickey and Minnie, and my 2 original Solus Clan project characters Rosé Mei-Lin and Tsubasa Ren raiding CEO Mickey's office (which entails to Bob Iger) and destroying the soulless doppelgangers here and destroying the papers for his plans with AI gen slop. As I said. This... is sending a MESSAGE! I do not, and will NEVER BE OKAY WITH HIS ACTION WITH AI GEN TRASH!!! None of us who are true artists and appreciators of true art will be okay with this! All Bob Iger's done is open Pandora's Box with this. And he's not going to like the consequences that'll come from his actions. Now more than ever... We need to protect Walt Disney's true legacy: What HE built from the ground up, not what Disney's become in Bob Iger's hands. We need the real Disney we know and love back more than ever, and I hope karma hits Bob Iger so hard he'd become so demoralized he'd quit being CEO (and we need to make DANG SURE we get a better CEO who knows Walt Disney's leadership and whatnot).
Now what I'll state is something that should scare us all right now. If even freaking DISNEY under Bob Iger is ok with AI gen trash on their platform... NOTHING IS SAFE FROM IT! And we need to take that seriously, because if AI gen slop gets greenlit by too many greedy corporates without calling for regulation or something to restrict AI gen, it is OVER for us human people who want to make content out of passion and whatnot. And the dystopian future isn't decades away. It's practically here already. In fact, I'm guesstimating that we have less than one year of this growing out of control until AI gen slop is rooted in and there will be no getting rid of it for who knows how bloody long. We CANNOT let this happen! Now more than ever with a lot of people calling this out, and especially the government now NOTICING this and are calling for regulation, we need to resist the cancer that is AI generated content. But let me say this: If anyone reading this has done AI gen art themselves or whatnot, I am NOT condemning you whatsoever. I won't stop ya'll AI artists from doing your thing and I don't hate you at all. But if you type of artists do read this, please please PLEASE consider the weight of this situation: This is a dangerous precedence that's being set up. If AI generated content fully takes over, what will the human artists or game developers do then? And how will they make a living off their skills of art? How will they sustain their lives if they're struggling, using their passion for art and content creation just to keep a roof over their head and food on their plates? Think about that. There are people who dedicated years and years and years to perfecting their drawing skills and game development. So using AI to do that for you... That's honestly cheating. A massive shortcut with so much flaws in it. Something that is killing the livelihood of many people right now. People deserve better than this, and I know you guys can DO BETTER than this. But again, not trying to punish AI gen users out there. I just wanted to help them get a clear picture in all of this. I for one still have yet to work on my art skills for a year to get to a good level, but I know it'll be worth it. So please do not come after me for calling this out or think I want you banned. If anyone does it, I will not associate myself with you at all.
One last thing to paint a picture for everyone here. Bob Iger pulling the act of welcoming and even ENCOURAGING AI gen people to make the slop for Disney+... UN... REGULATED... A platform that has CHILDREN still watching Disney+ time to time... This is also dangerous, more so than people losing their jobs over AI gen replacing human beings. Because... When I say unregulated, I mean it. He didn't even say that NSFW (Not Safe For Work) AI content that involves sexual activities, adult levels of actions, drugs, gore, etc. etc. etc. are forbidden from Disney+ (I could be wrong but I'm assuming cuz Bob Iger's a lost cause at this point and this is pure desperation now)....... Let that sink in. No evidence of REGULATION of AI generated stuff of any kind. That means random strangers that are told they can make any content they want for Disney+ can end up making NSFW stuff for Disney+, and the children won't even know what it all is until it's too late! Adults who have never seen AI generated stuff won't notice until it's too late! Children will be exposed to not just brainwashing AI generated stuff that'll trick them into thinking that's how art's always been, but also exposed to content involving DRUGS, SEX, VIOLENCE OF EXTREME LEVELS, all of that!
Me and my friends believe if this becomes the case, not only would Disney legitimately be breaking the law to where they'd get a fine, there's a STRONG CHANCE Bob Iger could go to jail! PRISON! For exposing children to the stuff recklessly. Because as ya'll know, we Americans take children being exposed to R-Rated 18+ content very seriously, cuz we're supposed to shield them from all of that, NOT TURN A BLIND EYE AND LET OUR CHILDREN SEE IT WILY NILY. So, Bob Iger selfishly exposing children to that stuff will get him into a lot of trouble for not regulating random people that'll make AI gen stuff for Disney+..... Heh. Maybe that's what'll take to get rid of Bob Iger if he gets thrown in prison. But only time will tell.
I'm finished venting everything now. Hopefully you guys take this seriously with Bob Iger and help call him out on it. We can't be quiet about this while Iger opens the floodgates for AI gen stuff to consume Disney. Please, take into consideration how hard true artists and even game developers and whatnot work to get where they're at and how dangerous AI gen stuff can really become. I only pray it's not too late. But I'm willing to bet it isn't too late. Support hard working human beings with their art, game development, animation... All of it. Our heart of entertainment was built from humans and it will ALWAYS be built by human hands. Cherish it...
Also without spoiling too much if anyone's wondering what kind of powers Mickey and Minnie are using, it looks like the iconic mouse couple are somehow using the power of the Solus? 👀 Gee, wonder how that happened? Well, only time will tell when I get The Sakura Flame completed. I do have another of NeoCOMET's commissions from last month that involves this concept but that's a heavier spoiler as that one is closer to the story's canon.
