A new design for an old concept. Just like the stories, i've also decided to come up with a new design for mage yoshi's sword, and a design much better than what i had before, which was basically a fancy gold sword. I scrapped that old version and came up with a better, more unique weapon for mage yoshi.
This is SpellSword, a unique blade forged thousands of years ago, it's original owner was the knight mentioned in the prologue of Adventures of mage yoshi, it was infused with a special kind of crystal that can channel magical energies, it was made that way so the knight could better work with his close friend, the sorcerer mentioned in the prologue. After the defeat of the darkness and loss of the knight, the sorcerer claimed the blade and promised to protect it, the blade has since been passed down through the years and is now in the hands of Mage Yoshi.
SpellSword has unique abilities and powers all its own, but i won't reveal them yet, you'll have to read the stories to learn more.
