Hyper excited and willing to move mountains the boy wrote to the Santa Clause dozens of wishes, but there was one very special wish for him. The wish that formatted his head for almost half a year...
************
"Tuxley!", women's voice resonated through doors walls and god knows, maybe even to the neighbors.
"I'm coming!", the wolf boy shouted back and sprang itself from the bed, then dashed out of his room.
The older wolf, the mother of the sprinting at that moment to her cub stood in the kitchen, listening to the symphony of light bangs generated by the small paws of her son. "Look what we have here...Is that my Tuxley?", she said with pretending to be a thoughtful voice, when a little wolf appeared before her.
Tuxley before answering the obvious question had to calm his breath. Surely it wasn't the best idea to race with his tail after lying for two hours. Feeling his air bags turning into their normal pumping pace, he raised his nose up. "It's me! Tuxley, mommy!", he said with his cuteness tattooed in voice.
The older canine couldn't resist herself from bursting out laughing. "Where are you finding so much energy? Did you rob a bank of joy or something?", she joked.
Tuxley grinned widely. "Several", he said with the self-confidence of four grown males.
The mother laughed again. "I bet you're the number one wanted villain right now!"
It only made the boy smiling wider. "In all 195 countries", he said, raising his finger up in the air.
"Ye 195 countries....and one mother!", she exclaimed and stepped forward, ready to grab her son in her claws.
"NIAGH!", Tuxley yelled seeing mother's paws flying to him, which he dodged and turned backwards, starting running away.
"Come back here my little thief!", the female wolf shouted out, throwing herself in chase before the little boy.
Tuxley with constant laughter was running from the kitchen to the living room and yet again dashing the same path. He was surely more agile from his mother but definitely not faster. He felt his freedom is about to be lost, so using his karate skills he jumped on the sofa from the side and sprinted through the whole length of her, creating a significant advantage over his pursuer.
"Hey! Not on the couch!", his mother yelled at him, but with amusement in voice, so the boy didn't take it seriously, and continued running where the pepper grows. Still wanting to catch him, she quickly chose the way between the couch and cupboard and ran that direction. Half way she frizzed and looked down at the couch. "Oh no... Tuxley what did you do!", her voice sounded as if it was filled with all the sorrow from the world.
The boy hearing this planted his feet into the floor and twisted around. "W-what happened?", the worry and even stronger fear spoke for him. He moved to his mom in slow steps, reminiscent of a small pup aware that he did something very bad and wrong. Tuxley soon joined his mother to the side, then gazed down, starting scanning the grey surface of the couch. With every second his confusion was rising up because there was nothing wrong, no holes, no scratches, not even evidence of anyone actually placing its paws on the fabric! "B-but mom, what did I...", Tuxley trailed off while saying when he spun his head towards his mother, who was staring at him, baring her teeth like a deadly hungry shark.
"I gotcha--", she whispered slowly to the poor wolf under her. Right after saying those cooling blood in veins words she slammed him in own arms, like a crab in its claws.
"NO! NIHA!", shocked Tuxley squealed from the bottom of his lungs, as he suddenly got grabbed and lifted up. He didn't remain in the air for long, since quickly after his mother with him in embrace twisted backwards to the couch and took a seat on her.
The mother clenched around her boy tightly, soothing him in her arms. They remained in silence for a moment, probably none of them wanted this warm time to end, but the facts weren't best friends with time. There was still something important and exciting to tell the boy.
"What if I tell you that today when you were sleeping in your room to our home someone knocked. Probably you haven't heard it, but I do, so I checked who that was and you wouldn't believe who that was!", the mother said, bringing all the boy's attention, who twisted around to look at her.
"Who?", he asked his mom, getting poisoned by the enthusiasm from her voice.
Firstly, the wolf mom smiled warmly at him, which ignited the bomb of exhilaration in both of them. Tuxley with every second was activating more and more of his body parts to follow his sensation inside. His fluffy snake behind turned the power on, starting swaying sideways, firstly slowly, like a in love couple on romantic concert, but it quickly jumped on the another gear, turning the turbo mode of wagging tail so happily like a bunch of puppies all Ill for the same disease, overjoy.
The older wolf didn't want to spill the surprise so fast. Before deciding to tell him the super news, she firstly demanded his desire to bring him on the level of buzzing like a dropped can of Coca-Cola. It happened really fast, when the previously mentioned tail moving rapidly like on drugs dancer, eyes spread wide like for a kid who looked through the window and saw beautiful snowy landscape. It was time to detonate this bomb.
"When I opened the door before my eyes appeared the real Santa Clause! He told me that because he ate too much this day, he couldn't fit into our chimney. But, he couldn't just not give you gifts this Christmas, so he handed me them personally! You've opened them all yesterday, but there is one more that isn't tangible...", she trailed off here, wanting to raise his expectations even higher.
Tuxley turned around fully, now kneeling on the mother's thighs he lifted himself up, putting paws on her shoulders, and locked his sight on the older wolf. "And-AND? What is this? Is this...ngmh....I DON'T KNOW! Tell me please, please, pleeeease...", he begged, already dying of anticipation.
She chuckled at her son's exhilarated behaviour. "He told me that he knows that you know one certain fox, with whom you were chatting and playing for a really good time. What's amazing is that he lives only two states away from us! You know what that means?", she kept teasing him also wanting to turn his own mind to think.
Tuxley began quickly searching through different options, but the excitement completely blinded him, giving him no solid answer. "Mom! I-I don't know what that means!", he completely gave up, living the way for his mother to lead him the path.
The female wolf chuckled at the son's expression of the lost kid in the toy shop. "That means... You will visit him!", she exclaimed.
Tuxley as if lost his brain at this moment. The news was so strong that he couldn't at once understand what it was all about. He calculated and thought it over a couple of times, before he finally found the key. "THOMAS!?", he shouted out the name of his internet friend.
The mother nodded slowly with a full of confidence smile. "Exactly him"
At that moment the explosive charge exploded. "SERIOUSLY!? NO WAY!", Tuxley burst out. His exhilaration broke all the barriers in him and rocketed him up in the air, and when his paws touched the floor, his legs turned on, leading him forward himself at high speed.
The wolf on the couch was laughing happily while watching the cheering loudly boy leaping the circles all around the possible area, like a racing F-1 bolide. Tuxley couldn't run in eternity, so after over a minute of sprinting like an excited dog on a meadow, he turned the wheel towards his maker, and jumped on her. "Mom! It-its so cooool! But when-WHEN!", he exclaimed joyfully.
"Hmmm...", she pretended thinking, "What about right now?", she asked with a smirk.
"Now!? OH MY!", his words were like a magic spell leapt his body out of the mother's laps, and ordered, running towards his room.
"Where are you going Tux?", mom asked the retreating urchin.
"To prepare!", the boy shouted back from the house hallway.
The female wolf shook head with a chuckle and stood up from the couch. "What a charming goofball...", she said to herself and followed her son to his bedroom.
Together they packed up the bag for how it turned out two whole nights! The bad soon later was full of clothes and the most necessary things he would need, like his star in the eye Nintendo Switch.
"Ready to go?", the mother asked.
Tuxley lifted and with effort hanged the bag on his shoulder, then looked at the older wolf. "Yes I am!", he replied.
"Then let's go!", she whooped after him and turned towards the door.
The two wolves put on their shoes, then checked if everything was closed and lights were off at home, then went out of the house. In the car, Tuxley's mom recommended him to take some sleep, because the road was supposed to last around four hours, but he didn't take advantage of it, but soon later his nature decided for him, lulling him to sleep like a baby.
*************
"Hey, Tuxie-Duxie. Time to wake up...", the soft female voice filled the car.
Tuxley whined dealing the light pokes on his knee, which slammed him out from his beautiful dreams. "Wie ar-arrived--", he ended the sentence with a yawn.
"Yup, in one piece.", she answered him and unplugged him from the belt. "It's time for you to see your friend, Tuxley", she added.
The free boy from his safety, yawned and stretched his arms, then he just sat limply with eyes fixed down.
The mother noticed that something was evidently not right. "Hey, what's up?", she asked worriedly.
Tuxley sighed. "I just...wonder if he would like me. He seems to be really nice to me all the time, but...I don't know...", he replied meekly, all his courage and self confidence as if abandoned him in front of the doors of not knowing yet great content on the other side.
The mother hearing this placed he paw on one of the son's ones, and squeezed her lightly, wanting to make him feel that he is not alone. "If he likes you through the screen, then why not in real life? I bet he is as fun and playful as you! Perish the thoughts, as I don't need them...", she said to him in a classic motherly tone, gentle and full of courage.
Tuxley lifted his gaze up at her, thinking over her words and how much they are appealing to him. He came to the conclusion that she was fully right. They liked each other while talking hundreds of miles away, so why not face to face? "You're right, there is nothing to be scared about", he said with a warm smile.
The female wolf mirrored the smile. "Both of you will have so much fun together. I know that!", she told him before leaping out of the car.
"I hope that...", the boy said under his nose and followed his mom.
They moved to the trunk to take out the bag from there, then headed towards the foxes house front door. Tuxley saw the area of this middle size house covered in Christmas decorations and lights circling the house itself, with visible female eyes. So far, he really likes the view in front of him.
Soon later both of them stood in front of the doors.
"Soooo, who knocks?", the mother asked son.
"Ummm--"
"Alright, me.", she trailed off and simply knocked for him.
Tuxley at once straightened his posture, eyes bulged and with it, stress took a step forward along with a bit of horror that tangled the features of his face.
They waited, and waited, and waited, but no one seems to be willing to open the gate. Both of them felt confused about this, because Tuxley's mom knocked really hard.
"Mom... Is this the correct--", his voice sank into the ground when suddenly the doors opened wide.
"Hello!", the happily smiling vixen welcomed from the other side of the door.
"Good afternoon! Pleasure to meet you. Val Genner", the wolf mother said and stuck forward the paw.
"Marie Anderson", the fox joined the paw. Then she looked down at the smaller and red wolf. "And you must be Tuxley, didn't you?", she lowered down with an offered paw.
The boy hesitantly, but added own one, and then watched how the lightly shakes. "Ye-yes I'm Tuxley", he replied timidly, voice calling silently for mother's help.
Marie chuckled at his sweetness. "Don't be shy Tuxley! We don't bite! At least not much--", she giggled and left the small boy's paw. "Alright! Come inside! Both of you", she shit a wink on the older wolf, receiving back a small smile from the wolf.
All three canines entered the house, guests took their shoes off and then turned towards the inside of the house, where in the middle of someone was waiting for them.
"Go Tux, say hello to your friend", Val said to her son looking at the small fox standing at least 15 yards from them.
Tuxley let out sounds of nodding then dropped his bag on the floor. With less weight on himself, he took 10 steps forward, stopping with a good margin in front of the fox. Instead of saying anything, both of them were examining each other. Tuxley noticed that the boy was only slightly smaller than him, which made him happy, because at least he didn't feel like the smallest at last. The fox had black bushy hair, green eyes, wide smile and was dressed in Christmas clothes, like red socks, similar colours pants and green-red sweater.
"Ehmm... H-hello Thomas! It's cool to meet you...emmm...f-finally", Tuxley finally broke the silence between them, though surely it wasn't anything easy for him to do.
Thomas was only waiting for the wolf to speak first, just after that run to him and circled his arms around his body. "You have no idea how happy I'm to see you...", he said from the wolf shoulder.
Tuxley firstly dug into the ground, surprised by the sudden move of his friend. It was nice for him to receive a hug in a welcome at the first time seeing each other live. He after a moment with pleasure wrapped his own arms around the fox, enjoying the friend's closeness between them.
"Alright--", Thomas broke the hug, "Wanna to see my room?", he asked the wolf.
"Of course I want!", Tuxley exclaimed.
"Great! Follow me...", Thomas spun around and dashed up the stairs that were behind him.
"Hey! Wait for me!", the wolf cried out and ran in a pursuit before the agile fox. Fortunately, the door for the young boy's bedroom was just right in front of the stairs, so Tuxley could even see for a second the orange tail with white tip disappearing behind the door frame. "I'm coming!", he shouted out before his feet crossed the threshold.
"BOOO!", Thomas yelled as he jumped at the wolf.
"AAAA!", poor wolf screamed and rocket in the air, when the little fox scared him. For his fortune, he made it to land on feet, instead of his butt. "Gosh-man-why?", he asked breathless the fox, who was twisting from laughing.
"Man you HAHAHA was like little puppy HAHAHA", Thomas continued laughing at his friend.
Tuxley glanced annoyed at the smaller canine, in mind creating the revenge plan. Though, all the bad thoughts disappeared when Tom's normal laugh turned into a squeaking toy bitten by a dog. The wolf just joined his friend into this laughing session.
They laughed for a bit more, until their bellies demanded to stop this destructive behaviour for them. "Alright, Tux you're really funny", Thomas said, with circled arms around his tummy and trying to calm his breath.
"Your laugh is even funnier, believe me...", Tuxley replied, similar to fighting with his lungs.
Thomas had reason to bring his friend to his room. He suddenly stepped towards the wolf and grabbed his paw. "Come with me, I want to show you something", he said and his voice seemed to be hiding some secret.
"Yeah, sure", Tuxley replied to the fox, wondering what it's all about.
Tom revived the green light to act he spun around and headed towards his bed, then let go of their paws and lowered himself. The wolf watched how foxes paws were searching for something under the bed. After a moment the fox took out a box, quite big compared to him. With the mysterious cardboard box in paws Thomas raised up and turned frontally to his friend. "While this year's Christmas shopping I was searching for some warm clothes to keep the Christmas spirit somehow. I found some, as you can see on me, but I also bought something additional which...ehmmm...I wanted to give you", with a flushed face Thomas just handled the box for the wolf.
Tuxley looked at the box then at the boy in front of him, and again at the box. "What's inside?", he asked, even if he already had suspicions after analyzing what the fox said.
"Just take it. No questions!", he sounded orderly, even pushed the box towards wolf's stomach.
Tuxley couldn't do more than just accept the gift. "Thank you", he said, already blushing hard. His eyes were fixed at the top of it, not knowing what to do, how to behave.
"Open it", Thomas said quietly, "I want you to have it today", he added.
Now Tuxley was twice concerned what is inside, so he moved on the side of the fox and placed the box on the bed. His paws wandered on the top of the box and spread the top flaps, exposing the content inside. "No way!", he said happily, digging his paws into the full warm Christmas suit, contains, white wool pants, purple socks and similar purple sweater.
"I thought that during Christmas we could wear this to feel warm and climatic...", Thomas voice was betraying his sheepish side of him.
Tuxley glanced at him. "It's awesome idea Tommy! I love that", he told the fox, making his lips stretched sideways. "Where can change?", he asked, taking out the clothes into paws.
"You can in my bathroom", the fox answered, pointing at the door next to him.
"Okay, thanks!", the wolf thanked and moved into the bathroom.
Tuxley didn't spend much time on turning into walking wool hanger, like less than two minutes. With his folded clothes into cubes he exited the room, showing his new, Christmas presence for the fox. "How do I look?", he asked.
Thomas scanned his friend from top of head to feet, with a constant wide smile on face. "I think that....you look very very cute", he muttered quietly.
Wolf's eyelids spread from each other like the same pole magnets, and what he couldn't see but Thomas could perfectly, his face blushes as if his whole body heat gathered in his cheeks. "Emmm...ymmm...thanks?", he had no idea how to react to those words.
"Sorry bro", Thomas giggled, "I just can't lie to you!", it only made the wolf more sheepish at more compliments sent towards him, which he didn't know how to read. The fox decided to leave this topic already and moved to the next entertainment of the night. He padded towards his desk and grabbed a black, quite big and fabric case, then headed back to the friend. "Do you remember how much you were talking about your Nintendo switch?", he asked, receiving back a full of awareness nod from the wolf, who recognised the case instantly, "Exactly! I always wanted to join you playing, but I couldn't. It changed yesterday! I have my own console right now!", he exclaimed and lifted up the devices in the case.
"That's awesome Tommy! We will be playing together days and nights!", Tuxley joy saw no borders at that point, he was purely happy with the news.
"Yes! I thought the same! I haven't opened it yet though. I only know what it looks like, but nothing more. Would you like to show me everything?", Tom asked, twitching backwards his ears and shooting the wolf with his pleasing puppy eyes.
Tux giggled at a friend's look. "How I could say no to you! Wait...", while saying this, his mind connected dots, noticing some inconsistencies in what the fox said at the moment. "How did you know that I will come to you? My mom told me only this morning that I can come to you, because Santa Claus told her yesterday that you live close...", he asked suspiciously, not understanding why the fox most probably bought him clothes earlier before his mother got information from Santa Claus.
"W-wha...Sain...Claus...", Thomas stuttered trying to understand what the younger boy told him right now. He was completely in blue about everything, but his brain also connected the dots, giving him brightness on the situation. "Ohhh Santa Claus! Yes yes he...he-he was faster at my home! It seems that I was in his super long path at the closer position on his list!", he tried his best to cover his butt with obvious lies.
It completely didn't work on the wolf, in fact his behaviour brought only more questions than answers. "Alright... But why did you buy me all of those clothes, if you were supposed to not know about my arrival? Unless you go on Christmas shopping yesterday at night....", Tux continued rummage into those weird looking cases, like Sherlock Holmes.
The fox fell into panic, which he didn't show at himself, but inside he had one giant Christmas Chaos. "It-its because I've...I bought them earlier! Yeah earlier, because....I wanted to send them to you! I couldn't though because all post offices were closed, since you know, Christmas...", Thomas was praying in soul that it would be enough for the wolf to let him go.
Tuxley wasn't the least bit convinced of anything that this water-soaking out fox had spit, though he felt it wouldn't lead them to any good place. "let it be so this time...", his eyes squinted, "You wanted me to show you what's is all about with Nintendo. Wanna do it now?", he asked.
"Yes! Yeeees!", Thomas exclaimed at the proposition, rather because he didn't have to sweat in explaining himself anymore. His eyes started scanning his room for a place to sit and lean over what cubs love the most. He noticed that the moon already stole the sun, and made the room become a bit too dark for them to see anything properly. "You know what? Let's move to the living room. What ya think?", he asked.
Tuxley shrugged. "Whatever for me, and besides that I need to go downstairs, because I left my bag at the entrance "
"Great!", Tom grabbed the wolf's paw again and dashed out of his bedroom.
As both of them found themselves in the lower storey, Tuxley headed for his bag, while Thomas took a seat in the carpet in the middle of the living room.
"Hey Tuxley! How are you doing?", the wolf mother questioned her son who was moving away from the entry doors with a bag on his shoulder.
"I'm great l, mom! We gonna play on Nintendo now!", he answered with his sweet voice.
Val smiled at the news. "Okay then go! Have fun sweetheart!", she exclaimed to him.
"Thank you...", he said quietly, embarrassed after hearing how his mother called him shamelessly loudly. The boy just moved to his fox friend.
"Alright, so how to use it?", Thomas asked when the wolf took a seat next to him.
Tuxley took own console from his bag. "So, in your model and so to mine, you need to plug the cartridge with the game. Do you have any?"
Thomas opened his case. "Yes I do!", he had three games to choose from, but out of them, he knew only Mario Cart. "Okay what now?", he asked with the game in paws.
"On the top right corner you have a place for them. You need to first open it.", he pointed at the game card slot.
Thomas as he got told, opened the slot and slid the game. "Alright, now?"
Tuxley had to think about what to do next. "You know what? Lemme figure it out.", he stuck out his paw, demanding fox's console.
"Yes, sure chief!", Tom said, making both lightly laugh, then he handled his belongings for the wolf.
"Thankie. In a moment we will see who is the better driver!", he exclaimed, and then moved to configuring the console.
Normally Thomas would watch what his friend was doing on his brand new device, but something else stole his attention. "Your hair is cool! Are they made of mint? The colour seems to prove it!", he pointed out.
"Yeah they are--", Tuxley replied with a little chuckle.
"Yhmm...", Thomas even if knowing that the wolf was just joking, his mind wanted to be really sure about this. His eyes were fixed at the beautiful aqua colour, starting tormenting their owner with the question: What do they taste like? Tom knew it would be weird to actually taste them, but if he didn't do it, he would always wonder. He lifted his left paw on the level of the wolf chin, then he drove his muzzle close to the reason of his interests.
Tuxley suddenly felt something touching his chin on the side. "What's u...", he completely froze in death as he felt something evidently wet sliding over his hair. His jaw sank down in shock and pinch of horror as more of weird those weird sensations touched him. There were a few more licks, which caused his whole face painted in horror at this point. Finally, everything that had made him feel on the verge of being eaten left him. He turned his head at the fox, who seemed to rinsing saliva in his maw. "What-the hell was that!", he screamed at him, but rather not too loud, so the others wouldn't hear them.
Thomas swallowed the mixture he created, and at once he twisted on face. "Bleh! You lied at me!", he seemed to be upset about the real taste of those deceptive hair.
"No shit Sherlock! I was joking, and you ate it! You have licking me man! What's wrong with you!", now the roles had reversed, the wolf turned from defensive to full offensive mode.
Thomas firstly growled at wolf, but he quickly came to the terms that he is the villain of this story. "I'm sorry Tux...", he apologised, head dropped down and ears turned back. "I-It is just a very fox thing to try and do whatever is possible to do. We are just very curious...nghhh is so embarrassing...", he felt so bad that what he wanted the most was to sink to the ground after his horrible behaviour.
Tuxley's soft heart couldn't let the fox feel bad no matter what he does. "It's okay Tommy...", he said, placing the paw on the smaller canine shoulder.
Thomas raised his eyes at the wolf. "I'm sorry,I will not do it ever again...", he apologised yet again, though this time looking staring into the wolf's purple eyes, with his own, green glassy ones.
This sorrow-like look of the fox touched the sensitive heart of the wolf, who even felt a bit guilty of reacting so aggressively. Now it was his time to show the friendliness he had, by throwing himself to hug the fox. "Don't worry, I'm not mad at you. I lied to you, and you did what you did. It was weird, but I understand the reason for doing this.", Tuxley with truth leading his words told the fox, wanting to soothe him somehow after this all, what he managed to do it when the other boy wrapped around the wolf's waist.
"Thank you Tuxley...", Thomas spoke, his voice playing with his emotions that except in words resumed in little drops playing in tag on his cheeks. He would love to snuggle with his barely met friend for a bit more, but there was something to do here. "Alright", he unwrapped from the wolf, "Maybe some gaming now? Whatcha think?", he asked.
Tuxley smiled brightly at him. "I'm dreaming about this!", with those words his natural joyfulness activated in him. He dug his all attention into the console to do his work as quickly as possible to start their gaming session faster. It helped him, since in a moment everything was ready to go. "Here you have. I've already turned on Mario Carts, so wait a second for me", he said to the fox as he handled his console, while in the meantime he grabbed his own one.
"Thankie Tuxie", Thomas whispered, receiving in reverse a wink from the wolf.
Having everything ready and heated up to red, the boys started their emotional to the pain rivalry. Well, maybe not exactly. Thomas was lacking in skills like a kid who for the first time use a bike, additionally without supporting wheels. Tuxley had to teach him how to control in game, witch took him a while, but Tom was learning quite fast, so after a one game he was already able not to crash on everything he saw! It made the wolf very happy, because he finally could play seriously in one of his favourite games!
Things got serious when Thomas won his first game. Tuxley was happy that his friend learned so fast, that he already beat a maniac of Mario Carts. He was happy but not for long, as Tom began winning everything one by one. Now Tuxley had one goal, to beat little fox ass. So they play, they play, and play but there was no winning for the grey boy at the horizon. Both of them looked like zombies, who were yawing at least once every minute. It was surely enough for both of them, though only one of them thought that way.
"Okay *yawn* I'm done for today. Let's play more tomorrow", Thomas announced in a tired voice.
"No! We *yawn* we can play more! One more! I almost got you...", Tuxley with full conviction said that, though his natural clock was screaming like a crow in the middle of a dark forest.
"Come on Tux! I can't anymore...", Thomas whined out.
"No! I promis I will *yawn* I will win this time!", the wolf didn't see any other option before himself, win or die.
"Nope, I'm out", Tom had already enough, so he simply turned off his device.
Tuxley seeing that made a face of deep surprise and anger at the same time. "That's a nasty move!", he said madly and dropped own Nintendo on the side, himself turning back to the fox with arms crossed.
The fox got a little pissed off seeing his friend sulking so child-like. "Tomorrow we have a whole day to play! I'm too sleepy today man...", he tried to convince the wolf, but all he got in reply was full of contemptuous snort. Thomas stood up and grabbed the wolf by his shoulders and started to shake him, trying to somehow move him. "Ahrrr... Come on!", he shouted out at him.
"There is no way!", Tuxley growled back.
"Okay! If you want to stay here, then stay! I need to rest...", Thomas gave up, withdrew his paws and stepped away. "You can't just reconcile that I beat your ass...", he added leaving.
Tuxley snapped his head at the fox. "Oh NAH! Now you’ve crossed the line!", with words he jumped up from the floor, ready to catch this really rude fox.
Thomas at once noticed the flying wolf at him, which gave him a great speed advantage and possibility to successfully dodge the fluffy body. "I DID IT!", he exclaimed as he ran towards the stairs with a grey tail behind him.
"Come back here foxy!", Tuxley called the fox, who was already half way on the stairs, while he was barely at the beginning of them.
The same situation, deja vu of situation just from a couple of hours ago, Thomas ran into his room and disappeared in the darkness, with this difference that Tuxley couldn't see the treacherous fox tail. It didn't matter to him this time, he was ready for the jump scare. This time the wolf simply ran into the room, but to his surprise, no one stood by the door. He looked after the space, but there was no one here, until suddenly his ears ran a sharp and loud sound of shutting the door. "AAA!", he was caught in the net of the malicious fox once again, like a fish that cannot learn from its own mistakes.
Thomas with a breathless laugh dashed away from the door and ran towards his bed, by which he stopped and turned at the wolf. "HAAHA! I GIT YOU TWICE! YOU ARE SO EASY TUX! EASY HAHAHA", the fox's amusement had no end. Yet again his actions caused his tummy to become one giant hurting ball. His laugh was so hard that even tears started running his cheeks.
Tuxley from the other hand wasn't that much of a delight of the happenings from the moment. Maybe he got played masterfully by the fox, but what Tom didn't think through was that by closing the door he had actually just exposed himself to the wolf pup. "You think you're so clever, foxy? Remember, he who laughs last, laughs best! Ha-ha-HA!", Tuxley spoke sinisterly and then lunged at the fox.
"NIAAAHH!", Thomas squealed, he even wanted to move away from the wolf fly trajectory, but it was too late, this time he was defeated.
Both cubs landed on the bed, the Thomas on the back and top of him Tuxley, who almost instantly pushed himself up, just to take a seat on friends thighs. Tuxley placed his paws on the fox's stomach, and most likely stuck his little fingers into the fluffy fox belly, since Thomas at the touch recoiled violently.
"Hey! Be a little careful wolfy! I'm very ticklish! I...I'm...oh...", he screwed up, very very much and he knew that. He watcged like Tuxley's lips were widening, stretching like a gym band until he saw all the wolf's teeth. Thomas face got sculpted as if by the best sculpture in the whole world, pure fear was shining off him like he was irradiated madly. "Tux listen to me! I-I-I'm sorry!", he shouted out frightened, but the words only lifted wolf's claws in the air. "NO! Tuxley! Have mercy! Found mercy from me! TUXLEY! MERCY! AAAA", his screams were of no use, he had made so much mess that now the sweet revenge had come to him in the worst possible way.
"WHAT NOW, FOXY!?", Tuxley shouted out, digging, scratching, roaming over and stabbing with his fingers poor boy's stomach. He was listening to the hyper exaggerated laughs, cries, begs and squeaks eliciting from the fox. Such revenge was in keeping with his sweet nature, he wasn't hurting his friend, well maybe just a little, but he was laughing! Everything was beautiful to the moment when suddenly the little orange boy started squealing, but not normally, he sounded like 10 alarms turned on at the same time! Loud noises like by order of the mother recoiled wolf's paws from the fox, and caused him to shuffle off the weird sounding friend. "Tommy everything is alright?", Tuxley asked worriedly, scared that he might hurt the fox.
All Thomas could do, was let out a mixture of giggles and begs for air. "I-I hiehiehie YEAH! Hiahiahia", he spit out, constantly laughing in a squeaky way.
Tuxley was completely in blue about what to think at this point. "S-so you're completely fine, and I didn't break a bone or something in you?", he asked slowly.
Tom took some long breaths to calm himself. "Ye, I'm all good! I told ya that I'm ticklish, and this is what happens when someone ignores my warnings!", he pointed his finger at the wolf.
"O-ooh...I'm so sorry Tommy...", Tuxley replied in a sad voice, yet again feeling guilty of doing something wrong this day.
"Don't be!", the fox exclaimed, "I've been torturing you a bit, and now you have been torturing me! We're even now!", he summed up.
The wolf let out a relief sigh. "How good...", he dropped himself on the bed right next to the fox. "You scared me three times today"
"Yes, but it's all because it was fun! Weren't you enjoying it?", he asked as he spun head at the friend.
Tuxley turned sight at the fox. "I mean... It was all super, except the scary part", despite everything, he laughed a little.
"Well... It's not my fault that you are so timid.", he grinned.
"Is that so...", the wolf growled.
"Okay, I'm sorry...", Tom turned eyes at the ceiling to avoid eye contact.
Everything silenced the room at this point. Both of them turned their attention to their own thoughts. Their minds began to summarize today, their first meeting after months of talking and spending time in the virtual world.
"Have you had fun today?", the fox sent the question.
"Yes", Tuxley haven't had to think twice. "It's so cool that we could and we will spend time together. Isn't it cool?"
"Definitely", Thomas instantly replied, "It was awesome, and tomorrow will be even better!", he exclaimed.
"Yes, because I will destroy you!", Tuxley said back with courage in voice.
"I wish you that! But firstly you need to take some sleep. Are you ready?", Thomas asked.
The wolf index lightly. "Yup, it's definitely time for this"
"Great!", Thomas spoke. "Emm... Tux?"
"Yup?"
"Can I...", Tom rolled closer to the other cub, "Can I hug you?", he asked sheepishly.
"I think... that you---oh gosh!", Tuxley got surprised by the sudden squeeze around his waist.
"You didn't say no...", Tom said softly, shuffling his head against the purple sweater of the wolf and tightening around the friend's body harder.
"Well...I-I didn't have time to say much actually...", Tuxley replied baffled.
Thomas took a glance at the wolf. "Do you mind it?", he asked, and then slightly loosened his embrace
"I mean...", Tuxley had to think for a moment. He likes cuddling, very even much, but with the other boy? It sounded weird for him, but his body was already wrapped in a nice fluffy furry, so why should he refuse? "No, it's completely fine", he smiled lightly.
Thomas copied the expression. "Thank you", he said gently and hug the wolf again. "I really like you Tux", he added casually.
Those words were like a revelation for the grey pup. "I like you too, Tommy", he said with a certain voice.
Thomas let out a content sigh, himself feeling relieved that all he did today, didn't change between them. "Good night, wolfy...", he said and yawned after it.
"Good night, sleepy foxy", Tuxley replied.
Both of the boys were on the edge of their battery endurance, causing their minds to set on the sleep mode, lying very close, like two puppies that have known each other for years...
I saw what you wrote under your seriously moving pic with my boys, Thomas "first steps" in skating. Such a beautiful, full of love and imaginative idea. How much I would give to have someone like Tommy around:) You wrote that you hope I would like it, but you need to answer this by yourself, knowing that I've cried looking at this.
How you doing today?
This sentence we are sometimes writing on the chat with our mutual friends. I remember how I was sad that you couldn't join us, because telegram need number to create account. But it changed, after a week! I was waiting week and when saw your PM I've almost grabbed the whole earth and starts dancing with it! I'm joking of course. I was seriously happy about this, because I knew that that way we would learn more about ourselves, write, talk to others and share our lives. How it all end up? Better than I could even think of! I learn how painfully good, kind, welcoming, open, lovely, TALKATIVE, sympathetic, creative, and more and more. If I had a dictionary in front of me, I would make a story about how crazy good person you are. I bet I'm not the only one who think that way:)
You are the true artist.
Another thing that you pointed out was that you can't match with something. Seriously? Where! Look at your gallery and tell me why you think that way? Your ideas are simply beautiful! I remember when you shared with us with the Halloween pic of Tux being drag by this creepy creature (which In my mind I'm calling I think her a mum bat). Being honest, I was watching this pic for good couple of minutes, while screaming in mind "DUUUUDE THIS IS SO COOOL!". Your art is always showing me that there is a way to improve myself, what proves that maybe is me still using 5.5 CFG while generating images. Dude! Thanks to one of your prompts I made the final version of Thomas with his bushy hair! Your approach to work also is very Inspiring. Every your image you are sharing here on IB or with us are perfectly made. There is no errors (most of the time though lol), detailes are always on high level (like on your snowball fight pic), and on every of them I see your huge and warm like sun heart. . If this is not the definition of being a good artist, then we are no more human beings...
You influence me like no one else....
What if I tell you now that because of you I born my first tear for a long time, like years? Yeah you made me broke my nice streak of not crying! With it also another aspect flowing. You made me sensitive, and I'm very glad fot this❤️ Also talking with you helped me open myself for others, and be more talkative. It's important thing, because in real life I'm very calm, shy, silent and closed in myself guy. It looks a bit different while we are communicating, didn't it?
The stories that hang on our hearts
Ehhhh, stories.... I made several sucb, but there is one special, that sit in our heart. Five chapters I've made about my boys, which you helped me developed. How? What if I tell you that I've made 4th on some ways and whole 5th based on your comments? Yup, you ware in fact the only one who was giving feedback on my stories, and because of that, I wanted to create them for you. The ending of 4th one I was writing with you in mind, 5th with your unaware soul next to me. In comments you was writing about how much emotional they were, so I was putting more efforts to make you read them with pack of tissues next to you. Crazy, isn't it? But I'm glad that it happened like that, because now my boys have more colours than I originally wanted to paint them. Thank You for those comments❤️
I'm talking with Tux or Tuxley?
You have made beautiful characters man. Tuxley, Lyra, Val, all of them have souls, that make them so real, as if they were standing next to you. Tell me, how did you make Tux so extremely cute? He is pure living cuteness! On our group from time to time (okay, constantly lol) I'm using your stickers, because firstly they are all very creative, looking awesome and very expressional, but also because I simply love Tuxley! He is so vulnerable and sweetly innocent, that I can't just not using them! And that's another reason why you are an awesome artist❤️
We are friends, didn't we?
The last paragraph I left for us. Having you always somewhere around, watching my hands, talking about the stuff we are crating, but also other topics, seems to be out of the world. We, along with our friends are supporting to each other, always open for suggestions or help. It's funny to woke up in the morning with hundreds of messages ready to get read by us, didn't it? We both found in the place so beautiful, that I can't believe it for real.... I'm not fully sure, but I think you wrote first comment on my profile under the image with Thomas and Levi in embarrassing situation. It was my birthday, and you wished me happy birthday, and you know what? You were the best gift for my birthday I ever in life received❤️
I'm so glad that one day you clicked on one of my post and decided to stay here. You seriously important person in my life, not only because that you lead me to the place where I'm right now, but also being kind and lovely for me and others and also for changing me as a human. I love you, Tux❤️❤️❤️
Your posts are usually so easy to respond to. I see them and something just rolls out of me because it's so easy to find things to love about them. This one is no different in that respect, but it's also about me, and it's the nicest thing anyone's ever written about me. I'm exactly Tuxley in this story when he doesn't know how to respond to such a compliment. It feels surreal to hear you say that. Like you can't possibly be talking about me. And yet part of me does believe it because I can say all the same things about you. So if I can see all those beautiful qualities in you and your work, then maybe it's possible for someone to look towards me that same way. I love you too. And I love your work, and i love your characters. ❤️
I don't remember exactly how it went. I don't even remember what month it was. June? July? I came across one of your images. I think it was the one of Levi sleeping, and I thought it was beautiful and adorable. I also remember thinking "Man, this guy's username is really cool." 🤣 Then at some point you left me the nicest comment I've ever recieved. It brightened my whole day. And with that comment you taught me how much of a huge impact a comment like that can have. Then I started reading your stories and before i knew it you had me laughing and crying and cheering these two kids on as they found eachother and found themselves. You laugh at the details I remember, but you make them so memorable it's hard to forget them. I remember all the times you made me cry too. The first time was when Thomas is with Max working through how he feels about Levi. When he breaks down and sobs "He's supposed to be my friend" that broke me too. There was so much raw emotion and weight in that moment. That's the point when I knew I was riding along with you on whatever course your creativity would take you. And what a ride it's been!
At some point after like the 30th comment back and fourth, in the deepest part of my heart, I started thinking maybe someday our characters could cross paths, maybe just a little reference, or maybe in an image where they're passing each other on the street or something. When you asked for requests, this is what was on my mind, but I was too timid to ask for. But you knew I would want that because of course you knew. And you didn't just do an image, you made three of the prettiest images and an entire adorable Christmas story that wove our characters and worlds together so much tightar than I could have ever imagined. And in a way that feels natural and true to both characters. I love this, and it's going to live in my heart forever alongside you, and Thomas and Levi and Tuxley and Lyra and all of our friends and their characters.
The fact that the two of them get to be friends is just the happiest warmest feeling. This whole story was pure joy. I was smiling from the second I started reading it until, well I still am! Seeing Tuxley brought to life by someone else, someone who understands him, is surreal and amazing! His interactions with his mom, his nervousness about wanting to be accepted, his reaction to being licked, and to being beaten at his own game in Mario Kart, it fits him so well. You haven't just recreated his character, you've added to him in meaningful ways that have given me inspiration for the next stories I'm trying to write with him. Thank you so much for that! And of course you brought Tommy in full force. All his endearing, manic energy is always so much fun, and now Tuxley gets to get hit (or licked) with it.
I have tons more I want to express, but it's past 4 am for me and I'm having trouble putting sentances together, so I'll wrap this up.
THANK YOU! I love this so much and I love you too, Jo ❤️❤️❤️
~~~ Quote: "Emmm...ymmm...thanks?" ~~~ 😅 Your posts are usually so easy to respond to. I see
It looks like we are both crossing the lines with every interaction we have. I wrote so much about you, because we both feel those emotions to each other, and what's most important, I haven't had to lie in any word I wrote about you. Everything feels so beautiful and unrealistic between us, that even the darkness is hiding behind the brightness and weaknesses turning into strengths. We are shooting at each other with the same warm bullets, because from you I also received the previous words I have ever had in my life! I guess our kindness is what makes it all look like we can watch it full of content, warmth and the consciousness that we both found something speechless...
I remember what I thought when I first saw your work. It was something like "Gosh, it's so creative!", and I'm relating to those three posts named "The Moving Trip". It was seriously something that blew my mind, because except for looking beautiful, it was screaming about the amount of time you had spent on this. It also showed me that thanks to Ai we can create stuff that can be something more than just hundreds of pixels creating the imaginations from our mind. We both have the creative nature, and that's what connects us very well, not only our minds:)
Comments are what is showing the artist that he is doing something right. All yours are putting a smile on my face, just as mines on your. It's very human that we love getting prizes for what we are doing. Btw I please you for one thing. Comment only when you really feel anything I'm making deserves this. I don't want you to feel obliged to do it, because we both know how they affect us. Be yourself in this aspect, and always put yourself over anything else♥️
I remember exactly the scenes with Thomas and Max you have mentioned her. I was alone in my room (normally I'm not), I was lying in bed being fully locked into writing the story. It was hard to write this one. I've immersed myself in the world, standing just above Max and Thomas, watching how he was sitting on the floor completely defenseless and vulnerable. It was hurting my heart so much, that just to avoid crying I had to write it with small breaks between sentences. When I wrote "He supposed to be my friend", I just dropped the phone, stood up and started walking in a circle, trying to calm myself somehow. I didn't think writing could be so hard to write...
When I made the request journal, I was wondering what you would like to see, because there was no possibility in my mind you wouldn't ask for something. I thought that it could be something with Thomas or Levi, or both of them, which one of them you gave. Another guess was with Tux, but you didn't. I was a bit surprised and confused about this, especially that I think you had once called that you would like to see something with Thomas and Tux. My thought was that you just knew how limited I am, and just didn't want to request something that might never be possible to create by me. But you know what? I had our characters together in mind for a really long time, and this moment of my journey was exactly this, when it should become a real thing, not just an idea. Actually we should thank Rowan, because he requested Thomas and Tadashi hugging each other, and when I leaned over it and started working on this, I found out that combining two characters, so different from each other, is not that hard to get. So, this is how my dream came true🥰 The story was certain for this, since this is what it all started...
And here we have, big timid Tuxie spoke loud :3 It looks like we are both crossing the lines with e
Being honest, I was worried that I might exaggerate with how I wrote Tuxley. In all your stories he was a slightly timid, sweet, vulnerable and innocent boy, whom the bad side even the devil would be afraid to give. You know, I was just scared of using your little wolf in writing, because you are always showing him in the cutest way possible, but it seems like I don't hurt him. And look! I've inspired you to think about the story with him again! And this is the biggest win of this all🥰 (Btw, I've once said, I think to you, that I have an idea to create a world with my characters and write stories about them. If you let me, Tuxley can me one of them, of course without making him dirty. I promised you that I will never make anything naughty, Lew with him, and I'm gonna keep with it♥️)
Okay, sorry for keeping u up for so long. I thought that I would be able to finish it quick, but well, I didn't, and additionally I fall asleep while reading and fixing the story lol Finally we can admire our two boys on the same pic, watching how those two little furs are having fun, laughs and feels happy...
Thank YOU for letting me make something with him. It was a pleasure to babysit him🥰
OMG, I love these. They are so good. I see the husky got color. That seductive fox looks so devious it's so exciting to see him tease the husky. I can't wait to read it. I just love your content so much and I'm so happy to see when you post it really makes my day.
This story I've made rather for me and him, but it can become a canonical story, as long as the father of this cute wolfy will agree for that:)
The main story is going quite slow, and being honest, I wont be able to finish her on 24 December, BUT I will try my best to actually make it happened. To the end of this year I should finish it, but I'm not gonna promise this time, because all my promises are worth as much as a empty sheet of paper... Though, at least you can enjoy Thomas meeting new friend here🥰
And you know what? The boy next to Thomas is not Levi, it's someone else:) Meet Tuxley, very cute an
Ah makes sense, still love the scene so thrilling. As for the main story we are all here waiting and will patiently wait for it, as you know it's such a good story and we are excited for the next installment. We know you are working your hardest on it and we can't wait so no heavy weights on your shoulders to meet a deadline be free and work at a pace that doesn't stress you out.
Awww man! You are so adorable🥰 Those five days I will be home, so surely the story will be pushed significantly, but I don't know how much yet. I want this chapter to be quite thick in content, since firstly I have plans of ideas for this and secondly, you all who are waiting for this deserve it♥️♥️♥️
