This animation was done as a commission by the lovely MissEus. It's part of a Christmas-themed YCH project she did that features various My Little Pony OCs singing Baby, It's Cold Outside. There are 24 slots in total, and as you see here, I commissioned MissEus to fill two of them with my OC Pine Thunderoak and her OC Liliya Krasnyy. Hearth's Warming Eve is hands down one of Pine Thunderoak's favorite holidays, with the 4th of July and Nightmare Night being the only ones that come close. Between giving and receiving gifts, decorating trees, putting up lights, watching Hearth's Warming specials, and having a delicious holiday feast, it's pretty much the most wonderful and joyous time of year for him.
One thing in particular Pine enjoys doing around Hearth's Warming Eve is going outside when it's snowing. He'll dress up in some red and white socks resembling candy canes, a green and brown scarf that matches his fur colors, and a Santa hat if he's feeling particularly festive, and proceed to check out what his fellow pegasai have done with the surrounding environment. His friend Liliya Krasnyy often joins him, and the two ponies will do all sorts of fun winter activities, whether it be playing in the snow, looking at Hearth's Warming lights, or exploring the nearby wilderness areas and seeing if they can spot any non-hibernating animals. Sometimes they'll even sing holiday songs together, with one of their favorites being Baby, It's Cold Outside.
