Just Trying to Figure Something Out

When you close your eyes, which side better represents what you see, A or B?

You may need to turn your brightness up quite a bit to see a difference.

I’m kind of afraid to know the response, but... Side A.

Oh no, this isn't anything bad, at least I don't think? Somewhat recently I've learned about something called Visual Snow Syndrome and I suspect I have it. Here's a video with some good information about it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tN2bO7WRnao

My vision has always been like that, even as a kid. I thought everyone saw things like this until I heard about this condition. It's still not as well understood, hell it was 1st described as its own condition in 2014/15. A lot of medical professionals haven't even heard of this, so trying to get an official diagnosis is probably going to be impossible.

So, I made this gif as a means to maybe try and understand it better. When I close my eyes it's always like side A, with the intensity of the colors varying, and sometimes having lingering afterimages. There's a thing called phosphenes which is seeing colors and shapes when we close our eyes, which I've also been looking into but getting confusing information, such as everyone experiences this, only some children do, or people with Visual Snow Syndrome see a lot more.

So tl;dr, I'm trying to better understand my own vision by asking other people about their own.

Usually B but sometimes A. And sometimes even more vivid shapes and colors (especially if I close my eyes tight)

When you see side A, does anything seem to trigger it? Bright lights, migraine, etc?
