here on Inkbunny for this sexy and more detailed version of Diana's Purple form!
Here we have the conclusion of Diana's forms, reworked and fleshed out to match my ideals! The Purple Crown is perhaps the most complex, if not the most mature of the Five Crowns. Each of the Crowns commands something associated with one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, as well as its opposite. The Red Crown commands Death, yet may restore life. The Green Crown creates strife through Chaos, but can be playful. The Yellow Crown causes Famine, but can create abundance. And the Blue Crown brings forth Pestilence, but can heal just as easily. The Purple Crown feels like an outsider, to an extent, for while it is the master of War, it knows everything.
And I mean this in a literal sense. It's secondary domain is Knowledge. For the Purple Crown, it is like the ultimate library, or the internet, if the internet adhered to facts. It was the only Crown NOT to begrudge its Bishop, and after Narinder tore our Shamura's skull, it tried, in vain, to fill the void left. As seen in the fight with Shamura, the Purple Crown grew tendrils right into their brain, to stabilize them; this didn't have the intended effect, however, as it left the spider a lunatic with moments of clarity. Just because the Purple Crown knew the "how" to help Shamura meant nothing as healing is the domain of the Blue Crown.
As might be expected, it again tried to help Diana upon learning of her blindness, and this time, it actually worked. The third eye in her forehead has fully functioning nerves, and the 'freckles' on her cheeks are in fact small spider eyes. Just as each Crown brings some piece of Diana's fractured mind to the forefront, the Purple Crown brings out her desire to help how and where she can. If her flock have questions, she can call on it to search for an answer. But most aren't exactly supposed to have access to such infinite knowledge at all times.
Fortunately for the Lamb, rather than drive her mad from knowing too much, she's instead a little scatterbrained, sometimes staring off into space as she tries to filter it all. This Crown also brings out her elegance and lady like mannerisms in full. Of course, this all changes the moment she must fight...
