English Voice Actress: Sarah Anne Williams (Sigewinne from Genshin Impact) https://youtu.be/V5j3W-Q4l_g?si=y7fV8_ABo7oufGcn - Just like when Sirica lost her mother Garlude, Knuckle Joe was somewhere between infancy and three years old when he lost his father Jecra by the hands of the unknown Star Warrior (In reality was Meta Knight as a mercy kill because Nightmare brainwashed Jecra (Due to the curse he had for three years) to attack the Star Warriors as there was no other way to save him), he was three when Emi was born two months after their father died, back then, Kouji, Kumi, and Rosette were way too young to remember their uncle. Jecra would of loved to name her after his late mother Emmaline, so Marian named her Emi. Unlike her brother, miraculously, Emi wasn't born with any sort of curse as it only affects the first born. Emi never knew her father.
She inherited her late father's green eyes (Which he was born with while his cursed pallete depicts his with red eyes), deceased paternal grandmother's similar hair style, and deceased paternal grandfather's hair color.
Hailing from the same planet as her brother and Sirica, Emi grew up in the Knuckle Village and is one of the only kids alongside cousins Haoyu, Kouji, Kumi, Rosette, and Perez Knuckle Joe is close with and is a tag-along kid of the group.
While she's young, sweet, naive, and cautious and not fully an experienced fighter yet, she cannot go by herself due to her tender age of seven, Marian always Knuckle Joe to bring his sister along whenever the former is away.
Emi cares about of her older brother, especially when he was born with the Dark Needle Curse (Which he no longer has), Joe would even protect his sister. She's very close with Sirica as if she were her older sister and accepts Ryo, Thoma, and Maya Nobleheart as her siblings.
Waiu even stepped in to be her father figure and eventually stepfather as her biological father Jecra has been long dead, she even calls him "Papa Waiu". Emi even gets along with her baby half-sister Miko. Roscoe Axer is even her honorary uncle and appointed legal guardian.
