ATK rises to 2800 and Harpie Lady 1?s ATK rises to 1600.* Harpie?s Empress, take out Black Rose Dragon!" shouted Mai.
"I draw and Summon Twilight Rose Knight (1000 ATK) in Attack Mode. Next, I tune both my monsters for Black Rose Moonlight Dragon (2400 ATK) in Attack Mode. Now my Moonlight Dragon, attack Mai directly! *Mai?s LP drops to 4000.* Let?s see what else you?ve got," continued Akiza. (Hand: 0 cards)
"I?ve got plenty. I?ll Set another card to end my turn," replied Mai. (Hand: 0 cards)
"Sounds like you?re the one running out of steam. I Summon Violet Witch (1200 DEF) in Defense Mode. Now Black Rose Moonlight Dragon, attack Mai directly!" began Akiza.
"I draw and activate Hysteric Party to discard 1 card and revive some old friends from my Graveyard. Get ready because you?re in for a world of hurt! Let?s welcome back Harpie Lady 1 (1300 ATK), Cyber Harpie Lady (1300 DEF), Harpie Queen (1200 DEF) and Harpie Lady Sisters (2100 DEF) in Defense Mode," stated Mai.
"That?s too bad because your monsters all pale in comparison to my Moonlight Dragon. You had me worried that you had something big but it looks like you were just blowing steam," smirked Akiza.
"You?ll have plenty to deal with now so I end my turn," said Mai. (Hand: 0 cards)
"It?s nothing I can?t handle. I draw! Black Rose Moonlight Dragon, take out Harpie Lady 1! Harpie Lady 1 is destroyed. That ends my turn," said Akiza. (Hand: 1 card)
"It?s my turn and I use Card of Sanctity to make us both draw until we have 6 cards in our hands," started Mai. They draw their cards.
"Thanks for that because now I can Special Summon Rose Fairy (1200 DEF) in Defense Mode as you forced me to add it to my hand from my Deck," interrupted Akiza.
"Whatever. It?ll go down all the same. To continue my turn I activate Tribute Doll to Tribute Harpie Queen and bring out Harpie?s Pet Dragon (2000 ATK) in Attack Mode. Don?t think this some tame little teddy bear because this dragon gets 300 ATK for each of my Harpies on the field. Harpie?s Pet Dragon?s ATK rises to 2600. Luckily for you, it can?t attack this turn since it was brought out with Tribute Doll so I?ll Set 2 cards to end my turn. (Hand: 2 cards)
"I draw Tribute Rose Fairy for Gigaplant (2400 ATK) in Attack Mode. Next I equip it with Thorn of Malice, giving it not only 600 ATK but it deals you the difference in points if its ATK is higher than your monster?s DEF. Gigaplant?s ATK rises to 3000. Next I use Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your Gravity Bind! Gravity Bind is destroyed. Gigaplant, take out Harpie?s Pet Dragon!" said Akiza.
"I activate Mirror Wall to halve the ATK of each monster you have on the field that chooses to attack. Gigaplant?s ATK drops to 1500 and is destroyed, leaving Akia down to 3050 LP.
"I Set 2 cards and end my turn by switching Black Rose Moonlight Dragon to Defense Mode," said Akiza. (Hand: 2 cards)
"Then I?ll draw and discontinue Mirror Wall by not paying its cost. Mirror Wall is destroyed. Next, I play Harpie Lady Phoenix Formation. This card lets me destroy your Moonlight Dragon and deal its ATK to you since it?s your only monster Black Rose Moonlight Dragon is destroyed but Mai?s LP drops to 1600. What happened?" declared Mai.
"Simple. I activated Nature?s Reflection to make you take the effect damage I would?ve taken. Plus your own card prevents you from having a Battle Phase this turn," explained Akiza.
"You forget who has the field advantage. That?s me. I end my turn," noted Mai. (Hand: 2 cards)
"Then it?s time for me to end this Duel. I draw! I use Shining Rebirth, letting me banish Tuners and non-Tuners in my Graveyard to revive a Synchro Monster from my Graveyard. I banish Violet Witch and Twilight Rose Knight to revive Black Rose Dragon (2400 ATK) in Attack Mode!" declared Akiza.
"Big deal. My monster is stronger and if you use its effect you?ll be wide open," remarked Mai.
"Not with Shining Rebirth. This card protects Black Rose Dragon from destruction this turn," corrected Akiza.
