General Biological differences of Prizm City natives and residents.

Almost all of the Humans and humanoids residing on the Prizm City Space Colony exhibit a general set of traits that set them apart from earth-born humans,some of these have become inherited over generations of artificially imparting these traits and others are still imparted artificially,most of these are universal for the entire populace,some of which are holdovers from the genetically altered humans that originally settled the colony that were altered to better acclimate to life in space and prolonged times in micro-gravity environments.

Over time as the mastery of genetic manipulation on the colony improved it became much easier to apply these beneficial traits and is now generally part of the usual application of vaccines and other medications given in early life,both to impart these traits and to re-enforce inherited traits,while most of these traits can also be applied to an earthborn person at almost any point in life,their effectiveness can sometimes be lessened by various factors,such as prolonged exposure to certain factors in the earth environment.

Natives and residents are immune or resistant to most known diseases with enhanced immune systems and most physical disorders or deformities occur at extremely lowered rates,that isnt to say sickness and ailments no longer exist in Prism City,but what forms we would recognize would come in much weaker and treatable forms,Prizm city-specific strains of the common cold,flu and some other common illnesses have developed but are generally less severe and more treatable than their earth-based counterparts

A: The brain and nervous system

Natives and Residents generally have inherited a more developed sense of special awareness and slightly increased reaction time when compared to earth-born individuals.

There is debate that they also process increased mental capacities compared to people born on earth,but given the wide range of capabilities of earth-born peoples and lack of conclusive studies a consensus on this hasnt been reached.

B: lungs and circulatory system

Somewhat increased lung capacity is another hold-over from settlers to save on precious stores of oxygen,the lungs more efficiently transfer oxygen to the blood at higher density and a stronger,more resilient heart is better able to circulate blood throughout the body.

C: Muscular system

Natives and residents muscles are very resistant to atrophy and due to the increased capacity of their improved blood cells they can better deal with build up of lactic acid during heavy activity and better absorb oxygen from the bloodstream.

On average the same amount of muscle tissue compared to an earth person would be around 20% stronger and more efficient,a Prizm city native or resident when placed on earth wont necessarily be stronger than an earth person of the same level of fitness due to earth having greater gravity than the colony,but they will most likely have greater endurance to a degree.

D: Skeletal system

Bones of prizm city natives and residents are about 20% denser and stronger on average than an earth-born person and highly resistant to weakening and breakdown in micro-gravity environments,while prizm citys normal gravity is about ⅔ that of earth its enough that dangers of bone degeneration is negligible,so alot of the benefits are other holdovers from ancestors that were genetically and medically modified to better acclimate to life in space.

(been thinking alot about my original setting lately and wanted to finally actually start documenting stuff about it,theres still plenty of things regarding history of earth and some periods of the space colony's history that i havent nailed down yet,but id like to at least get some things made about the present,the people there now,and how they got that way and are able to be the way they are,at least in a way that makes sense to me,granted its a fetish geared sci-fi setting,but still.

this is very much a work in progress and my first try at such a thing so im not really feeling good about it,i dont think im much of a writer and its hard to make anatomy diagrams very exciting,but the next one i have planned i think will be alot more pleasing to look at if i can pull it off)
