Yeah, these pages have been a bit difficult to make. This one ended up with almost 20 layers. Also because of drawing things I'm not used to. and to top it all off, the program I used decided to update to a "new" version and it is buggy as hell. I have no option because not only it's what I'm used to, but also because it's on Steam and it auto-updates. But it should smooth up in the next ones. For now, I'll work on other side projects to take a little break from the comic and not get burnt out.

But yeah, Husky seems to be pushing himself out of his trauma. Or at least because he just wants to get all this over with. Who knows... we'll see how it goes for him. And Fx is still hiding stuff. His distractions seem to be working for now.

Steam has art tools? And if it has a manifest file, you can actually block updates by setting it to read-only mode - that's how people stop Bethesda's updates for Skyrim and Fallout 4 from breaking their modlists.

You just need to figure out the program's App ID (which you can probably find just by searching 'steam [program name] app id' on any search engine and it should bring it right up - I'm not sure where in Steam it might be found), then look in your steamapps folder for an appmanifest_######.acf file with a matching number - set that to read-only and the program will never update until you either remove the read-only flag or the file itself.

Yeah, I did the read-only thing for Skyrim a long time ago to keep it from breaking mods and SKSE. I never thought of doing it for this program, since every update has always improved it.

I guess I have no choice but to leave ot as-is for now and wait for an update

Love the doggo space helmets! Really good design for something that looks cool and scifi, but doesn't ignore how hard it would be to have visibility and a snoot.
