Mark arrives home from the Police Station. Meet the main reason Mark became a "Jerkface": Bart Joye, Mark's unemployed, former-alcoholic stepfather. With off-and-on hypertension and depression, Bart is often either wallowing and melancholy, or hypertensive and unnerved over his joblessness and loser-mentality. This has created a toxic environment for Mark to grow up in.

(rated mature, not so much for physical violence but perhaps abusive language)
