Aw, man. I'm sorry to hear you two have been sick. (At least it was at the same time). It isn't fun to be sick even on a good day.

I wonder if it is better to be sick at the same time so we get over it quicker, or to stagger it so at least one of us is functional x.x

The big problem with alternating sickness is, if it's contagious, you could be sick indefinitely; whereas being sick at the same time means you can't infect each other. However, you are right about one of you being productive. So, I guess it's pretty much six of one, half dozen of the other.
