Meet Salem!
Another member of the Magic Guardian mercenary group and one of the original team members.

She comes from a changeling hive that is strongly against hybrids and hunts them down. She escaped with the help of her sister Zal, promising to return when she could. To ensure her memories wouldn’t be tampered with, she made a deal with her sister to restore them if needed.

After wandering for a while, she eventually settled down and joined the mercenary group, becoming one of their key members. Along the way, she developed a slightly unhealthy obsession with guns and began collecting them which often catches people off guard since her species is typically known for using magic, not firearms.

Later, she manages to save her sister, restoring her memories and convincing her to betray the hive. With the help of the mercenary group, Salem takes control of the hive and lets her sister lead it.
That whole situation also led to the discovery that Salem is not an ordinary changeling she is, in fact, a hive queen.
