You know if you guys have already seen some of my stuff this year about growing up around here
and while I feel like I've never really fit in anywhere I've been, it really hit a peak around 5th grade when I had to move in with my moms side of the family due to financial and family problems.... a lotta stuff about that sucks but it wouldn't have sucked so much if I could actually make friends there... which was already pretty hard for me to begin with which was compounded by the fact that that side of the family not only lived in the countryside but spoke a different dialect. As you can imagine a sheltered awkward city boy isn't gonna have the best time making friends out in the countryside... especially when some of the other kids would start switching dialects just to leave you out or mess with ya. What's fun about bun bf is that he's kinda from that culture. It would've been really nice to have been friends with him at the time... have a friend to show you around the place and really make ya feel welcome. Everybody needs a friend sometimes... even when you're not new to the place.
