Cam is having a hard time with the summer heat. The sky might be covered, but that doesn't mean the temperature is dropping. Time for a bit of water...

I've been casually getting into photography ever since early summer. I think it was late May when I started.
I went out to Montréal a few times since to find some nice spots to capture, and Place-d'Armes is one of those spots that I quite like. This specific photo was taken in late June.

Of course, I couldn't leave photos alone, and had to doodle characters on top of a few of them.
Haven't done a lot, but all I'd really need to make more is an excuse and some motivation. I like the challenge of integrating characters into backgrounds like this, to feel like they're a proper part of the photo even though they're obviously drawn.

Fun fact, "armes" in French means "weapons".
Which probably explains why I didn't think of the pun, when I really should have!

Haha, I was pretty sure that was the case, but I'll never let a word's actual meaning get in the way of a terrible pun ^^ (I was a cool* kid and learned German instead of a language actually still in use on this continent :3)
