Yup, a farmer said he saw the glowing eyes and such in his barn, and had his gun with him, and it turned out to be a Great Horned Owl, I believe

My wife hit a spun, tweaking bicyclist right in front of it's statue when he rode right into the roadway. (He was taken in by the cops and we never heard about it again.)
