This is a little event I come up for all my patron to have some fun. It’s a story of young hybrid pony-changeling who try to find her father.

neat little detail, bat guano has a high concentration of saltpeter (potassium nitrate) but also includes organic compounds (carbon). Mixed with sulfur, the main D&D spell ingredients are so suspiciously close to gunpowder you wouldn't actually need too much mana ;)

not quite, bananas have potassium (and radioactive isotopes of potassium >;) ) mostly in the form of potassium citrate and potassium chloride, neither of which react with water. getting it into metallic form would be just as difficult as with bat guano. otherwise, you could just throw a banana at your foe.
which ... actually might work with banana peels if they fail their saving throw ;)
