GUYS I SWEAR IM NOT DEAD! As it turns out, having a full time job (a physically intensive one at that) and art do go together quite as well as I had imagined. So much so that I had finished this LOOOONG before actually uploading it now. Oops. (;; =w=) BUT! That's enough self-pity for now, the art is the important part!
So here we have for you all, my part of an art trade I did with the ever amazing
, of his equally amazing Mienshao OC, Miel! And boy howdy is she having a rough go of it!
...sadly a lot of my usual ramblings on the art process has faded by this point, but I can say by miles the dialogue was my favorite part! (What can I say? I like crass mamas. :3) Was a little nervous at first cause y'know, it's kinda important to stay faithful to other people's characters, but Storm was super duper helpful with getting it right! And really just getting the overall vibe of the pic right! (Which by the by you should totally go check out his gallery, he's got a ton of super cute Pokemoms in it!)
Oh and reference photos! Have I mentioned how much I like being my own reference photo? Cause lemme tell ya, when you're trying to get the general pose for a big ol noodle creature it can save you SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fuckin' time! And for figuring out hands. 'specially figuring out hands. fuckin' hate drawing hands, did I ever mention that too?
Anyways now if you'll excuse me, I gotta go catch up with the rest of my back log...
